Okay everybody I need your help. I'm wondering if some one makes a rail for the psop scope that I can add to my cheapo Cyma AK. I want to go from old school to tacticool but I want a Psop on it. I will appreciate any and all help.

As far as I know most psop scopes already have an appropriate attachment for ak side rails.

No actually I'm looking for the grooved pieces on the side of the gun that you would attach that scope rail to. I bought a cheap AK and it didn't come with the side slides.

I have one made by Guarder on one of my ancient AK's. Don't know if they still make those since I bought it more than 10 years ago but it worked fine with real PSO1 scope.

Literally almost every airsoft store I've ever seen sells those.

Question is, are all those side mount rails compatible with real optics or specific airsoft replicas? That's what I'd look into before getting one and drilling/tapping a receiver.

Perhaps just buy a rail that is intended for real steel in the first place? Especially as your plan is to buy a real psop sight.

Most of the airsoft rails will fit real steel SOVIET sight devices. I can't speak for Chinese or other makes, but Belomo scopes will fit no problem. The UTG should be a good fit too, but make sure you get it from an American retailer. I got a "UTG" from a Chinese retailer and it was a copy and the rail was bent.

Short story, go real steel or high end airsoft like LCT for the rails. They always have the best QC

LCT rails work with NPSU, and many other realsteel soviet stuff.

I would not drill and tap a cyma receiver with one, though.

I have this dust cover rail clone, didn't fit my CYMA AK, needs a tiny bit of dremmel work (the button doesn't line up). (I am selling, btw)

So my friend gave me a real steel piece that replaces the leaf sight, and connects to the stock bolt, which works great.
