Password garbage
 

Here's one. Forgot my password. tried to reset with the email thing onl;y about 6 times. No email has every been received. Now I lost my age verification and everything. wicked, Any one here have any ideas??

Check your junk folder?

If it's not there, there's a section on the main page of the forums here where you can send the staff a message.

What about your spam box/filters, are you sure you are checking the right email?
Have you waited longer then 3 seconds for an email to arrive?

Have you tried contacting an admin...


PM one with the following info and they may be able to help (not me, im about to sleep)

Name and DOB.
What account are you trying to log into.
What is your email address attached to that account.
Any other details about that account.
Describe some PMs you have in your inbox.
Any other account specific items known only to you so we can confirm you are who you say you are (infractions or warnings if you have received any, etc.)

I've been having issues with ASC email notifications in the last week.
I'm not receiving any for PMs or thread subscriptions. Both issues might be related.

And no, they are NOT in my spam folder.

I can also confirm I have not been receiving any inbox notifications for PM's received. Typically Cobra fucks with my account settings every so often so I thought it was just him again, but given this thread it seems that for once he is not to blame.

Now i need to think of a new user title for you... >_>

I'll pass the info up to higher admins to see if they can look into the mail server since it seems to be a common issue.

You could always go back to the classic "granny panties" I think nick was always partial to that lol

Yea its been a few days. I tried the contact us at the bottom of page. Getting verified again will be a big pain as I'm working northern BC and in camp quite a bit. Sounds like an issue with emailing though. Hopefully its worked out.

Getting verified again is not an option as this account will be banned by forum rules on multiple accounts. Before that happens send me a PM with your original account name (ensure proper spelling) and I will manually send an email password reminder through the systems back end.

Please also include the email you are using so I can verify that it is the same as what you registered with.

Why do you always blame Cobra?

Bloodsport, were you able to look into the mailserver? Seems like we're at least a couple (and probably more that just haven't realised it yet).

for the mail server it requires one of the owners to go into fix, although I can say I have been receiving notifications from it recently, so it might not be a forum issue it could possibly be your emails servers.

I checked the emails of those who have posted here, most of you are using hotmail/yahoo/gmail free email accounts. These have been known to have issues receiving emails form vbulletin forums.

If you can try changing to a different email like a work email or an ISP one (bell.ca etc) and see if your issue goes away. This typically is due to a setting in the free email servers settings and they can actually reject an email without you even knowing it is happening as it does not go to your spam at all.

banned for 1 day just because you do actually deserve it for some reason I just have not decided which reason yet.
