I see it's legal, ethical, and sustainable. Is it also cruelty free?

No animal testing; just humans?

But seriously; congrats!

congrats, after a quick review of the site, seems like a very professional and noteworthy evolution in Airsoft retailing - other provinces should take note.

So, what does this mean exactly? What does having the association do?

The Alberta Airsoft Retailer's Association (AARA) is a trade association composed of airsoft retailers in the province of Alberta. All member companies are held to a high standard of business practices concerning the importation and sale of goods.

As a player, you have a choice concerning where you purchase airsoft products. Our mission is to ensure that when you patronize an AARA retailer, you can be confident that your purchase supports legal retailing. We can all play a part in the responsible development of our sport, and ensure the sustainable growth of airsoft in Canada for the future.

I could comment, but I don't want to ruin the surprise...

Assuming your association is only for brick and mortar based airsoft businesses?

Not at all, online businesses who ship from and operate within Canada are more than welcome to join.

At this point, only brick and mortar stores and some on-line store are visible to any under aged people .

Unless you are AV'd, additional airsoft vendors that are in the AV'd retailer section are not visible but now will be automatically visible on your vendor listing if they become members.

Are you going to be extending your association across Canada?

Danke April 13th, 2014 19:20

Oooh, some kind of master plan for Alberta to start annexing other provinces?

Schoolboy April 13th, 2014 19:26
