This is a good, reliable product by Airsoft Inovations. The cost in my opinion, is quite steep. I understand your paying for the technology, but to charge that much money I find is not acceptable.

Price: $100.00

Pros: Reliable Technology, the design is very effective at hittting your taget with BB's. Fit's almost any grenade style pouch, Different colors, Comes with great maintence kits, and some nice options to enhance the use of your grenades.

Cons: Price, I had 2 of the threaded caps located on the bottom of the grenade break on me during the same game day (the bunker in NS).

Recommended? Yes

The Timer Tornado by AI is truly some great tech.
You can choose between 1.5 or 3 seconds by just placing the greande pin into a different hole.
The Grenade does exactly what AI claims on their site, just be sure to clean and maintain your grenades and they will work when you need them too.
Using a grenade that spits out 200 BB's, 360 degree's to strike it's intended receipient(s) takes away all the questions that may previously been an issue when using grenades in Airsoft games. Having grenades as an option to uproot opponents who are bunkered in key terrain opens gameplay and helps to reduce stalemates that sometimes occur in objective type scenarios.

Conclusion: In the end, the Tornado grenade by AI is a great product for any Airsofter, just as long as your wallet can take the hit of buying one, or in my case buying three.

It's Airsoft Innovations, bud! Says so right on the package. Price is what you pay for Canadian-made goodness.

Danke September 24th, 2013 14:15

I suspect the price does really equal what you get.

If they were that easy to make we'd have seen more Chinese clones flooding the market by now.

SuperHog September 24th, 2013 14:24

Is the market for grenades that big. I don't use them, neither my friends.

To play airsoft you need a gun, bbs, loadout. Grenades are luxury options.

Drakker September 24th, 2013 14:31

Buy them around xmas from Canadian stores, they are often cheaper, or bundled with other cool stuff like propane adapters and AI gas cans.

Poor review.

Get the company name correct, especially since you stole photos off their own site......

AI Grenades are the best on the market. 100% re usable.

Buy a disposable grenade at $15/grenade, 1 time use $15 gone.

Original complaint of the price not being reasonable is now erased.

Terrible review.

Sounds like a bad plagiarized essay from high school. If you are going to write a review, take your own pictures and don't state the obvious.

Zack The Ripper September 24th, 2013 16:05

Considering the multitude of reviews of the AI Tornadoes online I don't think it was necessary to go to the product page on airsoftparts.com as well as several others to copy and paste photos and tid bits about what they do.

If this thread was intended as a troll, you have won.

ban or warning for JadedKommando?

DaRkCoMmAnDo September 24th, 2013 17:23

Also, what attachment parts broke... I've used my with a spoon kit for awhile, lots of tosses there. No breakages. Where did you get that info?

$100 for a totally reuseable airsoft grenade is too much? You need a new hobby, little buddy.

FirestormX September 24th, 2013 18:50

I don't think that "the number of uses" is the correct way to go about defending a price point.
With that argument, I could justify selling my "most realistic [stock] glock ever" for $800, because you can fire a higher number of rounds before failure, than you could with a plastic springer.

What you're paying for is quality, and really, a monopoly of the grenade market.
I would agree that from the little that I know, $100 is a pretty high price point for the actual object that you get.
Same with $25 for a plastic propane adapter.

But eh, it's made in Canada (I think it still is, anyway), and they pass those costs on to you. :P

But after I spend $100 I'm set right? I mean like I won't need to spend more on something else will I?

Rusty Lugnuts September 24th, 2013 20:25

Are they still the same or are there version 2's or anything?

Sorry how did I type their name wrong? I can use their photo's under the fair use law, as I am not profiting from this review.

All I was saying is they could sell their Canadian made product for much less so more people can afford their product
