Moving Guns to the UK
 

Did a search and was unable to find any posts relating to this.

I may end up in the UK in the next couple of years and I know they have pretty heavy restrictions on importing guns. It sounds like my guns would be registered as realistic replicas and thus to bring them into the country I would need to prove that I play on a regular basis (2-3 times every 2 months) which usually requires you to show membership at a field in the UK.

This obviously makes it a bit difficult to bring guns straight from Canada as I have never played in the UK and am not a member of a field there. I was wondering if anyone in the past has gone through this and what the procedure is.
