My refinished g&g g980 kar98k
 

So take a look at my refinished g&g g980 kar98k. Although a nice rifle out of the box i wasnt to happy about the details. I found it to be too light of a walnut colour ( as the germans mixed in train axle grease with the linseed oil ) i wanted to give it that dark colour of actual war time issued rifles, although its real wood furniture they used like a paint lacquer which showed no grain what so ever. Take a look and tell me what you think ?
