Axis Face Protection

I enjoy wearing my Stahlhelm out to events (Meaning that regular mesh masks are either uncomfortable, or don't fit), but after an incident last year, I'd like to figure out a face mask system. Lost the tops of two teeth while the Allies attempted to storm the beaches.

I'm thinking of figuring out a system that will attach to the leather chin strap of my Stahlhelm, and only really cover my mouth. Anyone seen anything similiar or attempted something? I'd like to avoid re-inventing the wheel, unless I must.

Check with Tim at Impact, he has a teeth guard that just covers the mouth. It attaches onto the Chinstrap of the Ops-core. He might be able to mod it to fit the Stahlhelm or even Justin Styler might be able to make you something

Alright, I'll pop on in and see what Tim has. Right near work. I'd imagine, even if he can't, it might just require a little bit of canvas strapping, and my canvas needle.

Danke, Kamerad. My German and French aren't too good, so don't you worry!

I have one similar to the first but the fit is terrible and uncomfortable. I had to do some extreme metal shaping for it to fit. If I were to cut it down to remove the nose protection, and attach it to the Stahlhelm chin strap, it might be better.

A friend of mine has the "gas mask" linked above. i would stay the hell away from that as its of incredibly poor quality and i wouldnt trust it to stop a spitball let alone anything coming out of an airsoft gun.

I've seen pics of some guys over in the UK wearing this type of mask. Not sure about the fogging though. It can be trimmed to fit your goggle shape and even painted for a more realistic look.
