Don't want to sound like a smartass but, how an helmet would not fit a vest or another? Really, no correlations between the two, unless you care more about looks than other things ;)

But I recently changed my Mich2001 for an Emerson Fast (basejump); I gotta say it's Waaayyyyy more comfy than the mich!

The retention system is awesome, weight distribution is great, lightweight (already weighting it down with a light and contour and what not so...)

Fast helmet is seriously to be considered for anyone in the helmet market!

its to look cool, well more or less im thinking about issuing a helmet idea for a team im in, and for the vest/ plate carrier thing i just wonder how she will look/ perform

My vote would be to move up to an Ops-core fast helmet. The comfort and adjustability are about as good as it gets, not to mention the cool factor.

Personally I would recommend getting a real Ops-core base jump even though they are a little because of the quality and fit but some of the replicas are very good for the money. If you were to get a replica because of the cost difference I would suggest a premium fast helmet from Huang. They have better pads and suspension system for a little more and it will still be way less than a real one.

This may sound like common sense but if you do get a replica though don't expect the same protection as a real one, i.e., if you use it for base jumping, skydiving, bike riding etc.

Yes an Emerson Fast Core is a really good choice. Its getting more and more common but for good reason. Its comfortable and versatile. The straps are easily adjustable and the head lock system lets you adjust the helmet to fit perfectly on your head. The ARC rails on the side are a huge plus, since you can mount other things like lights, cameras, headset adaptors, Eye pro adaptors etc. The helmet itself also comes with a bunch of pads and a metal NVG mount. The price is very reasonable for the quality and stuff you get. Here's mine:

As for your question regarding medium plates etc, I use a Ferro concepts FCPC sized for medium plates and it suits it pretty well.
Here's a pic and a vid that I made:
