propane adapter spraying out gas?

ok. so i got a propane adapter(plastic) for my hellfire 1911. when i attempted to fill the gas the gas sprayed out the side of the adapter. covering the magazine with propane instead of inside the mag. how do i fix it?

Did the gas spray out FROM the actual adapter, or did it spray out from the tip, where it was making contact with the magazine valve?

If it's just spraying out from the tip, you might be holding the adapter at a bit of an angle, so the liquid isn't going directly into the valve. Or, the valve might just be a bad fit for the adapter. I have a TM mag that sprays gas when I try to use my AI adapter to fill it, because the valve is smaller than the adapter.

from the adapter. it made 100% contact. when i pushed in , the pushed back part starts hissing and spraying gas. therfore hurting or freezing my finger..... it is coooold XS

By "the pushed in part", is it the part that the arrow is pointing to in this picture?

Did you use the tank gauge or inspect the o-ring in the bottle? If everything seems to be in order contact Airsoft Innovations, or try a buddy's adapter, or your adapter on another propane bottle.

my buddy's metal adapter works flawlessly with my mags. so im guessing its my adapter. im just wondering why its spraying gas everywhere :/

For AI adaptor to work with the hellfire magazine, what you need to do is just push the adaptor deep and hard into the filling valve of the magazine, deep until no gas sprayed out. The hellfire magazine has good air seal once the gas is filled.

Huang: it sounds like the problem is his adapter itself.
Solidgear: I've never seen this happen, but from looking at my own adapter, if gas is leaking out of that hole, it might just be that the adapter is not seated on the propane tank properly. Have you tried taking it off, and screwing it back on?

done it a million times bro. no progress what so ever..... i give up i think i might buy a new one. any recommendations?

The pistol is WE compatible as factory states. We custom made these pistols working with a china gas pistol factory. The name of the factory was not released to us from the middle trading company though

AI propane adaptor works fine in our shop with the magazines we tested, just need to push very hard and deep, I meant reallly deep. The spring in he filling valve is ver strong.

alright many thanks Huang.

The AI one is fine for most people. Like Styrak said, it may be worthwhile to contact AI, before dropping another $25 on a new one.

i see..... i got a bright yellow colored one from i dunno where... might be worth it... metal or plastic?
