Umarex magazine in KWA
Bit of a silly question here, but I thought it wise to double-check before laying out cash...
Does anyone know if the Umarex USP magazines fit the KWA USP.45 pistols (NS2 type)? Umarex appears to offer both 25 round "tactical" and 29 round "match" mags, but I am not sure if either one would fit. I have been advised by a seller that they do not fit, but I have seen several online sites/comments stating that they do. Can someone clarify this for me? Preferably someone who has actually bought a Umarex mag and used it in a KWA pistol? Thanks! |
The Umarex full size USP is the oem'd by KWA. The KWA USP mags fit in the Umarex USP and vice versa(they're the same mags).. the 'tactical' mag is for the usp tactical, the match, for the usp match.. different guns.

I don't know offhand if they'll fit, but the key to the differences between them all is the base. I don't know if the match base will interface with the tactical base. whether or not this is actually reflected in the frame, or one is simply lower profile than the other, I don't know.

Umarex holds the license for H&K
KWA manufacture the pistol Umarex's USP Compact/USP .45/USP Tactical/ USP Match/ HK45 are made by KWA They're identical. USP Compact only takes compact magazine USP .45/ tacticaltakes USP .45, Tactical, Match, and HK45 magazine (not representative of real steel) USP Match/ HK45 only takes USP Match and HK45 magazine (with base plate installed. |
"Umarex" magazines are just the branding, that's all. They're KWA mags.

I run Umarex regular USP mags in my USP Tactical with no issues. The only difference is the base plate.

As Matt Watts had mentioned in an earlier post, the only problem you will have is with USP Match magazines. They only fit the USP Match, and are not interchangeable with the other USP types - although they do fit and work in the HK45.
Edit: What kullwarrior already said. Sorry. |
KWA mags
So the guy at Milsig does not know what he is talking about/selling? Nice....
Thanks for all the info guys; very helpful, and much appreciated! |
There's a lot of things the guys at Milsig don't know. They do however know how to price their merchandise way too high.
