Recently I dug out an older unit from the closet. The mags hold gas but it does not fire. The gas does not release and there is not recoil or blow back. Where should i look at?

could be the hammer isnt hitting the valve to release the gas try striping it and giving it a good clean and lube job and keep your eyes open for broken parts
