430mm tight bore.
 

So I am looking for a 430mm tight bore for a m14 socom. I can`t seem for the life of me to find one. Most that come at 430mm are for the VSR. I know people have done tight bores in them

any ideas? My only choice right now seems to be to add a silencer or cut the barrel to length from a 455 or 470.

That extra length is only 2cm, won't that bring your length right up into the flash hider?

I did a 469 in an 18" outer barrel and it brings the barrel slightly outside of the barrel right into the flash hider by about 1.5cm. I don't have pics ATM but that is an option unless you want the inner flush against the end of the outer.

yah I have the stock flash hider on and you can kind of see into it. My brain wasn't thinking hey! 20mm is only 2cm... hmm I'll have to measure to see exactly where it will come.

I've seen G&G makesa 430mm tightbore barrell. So does CA. But closet thing to that are a 433mm barrel for type 89. Prometheus, Lonex, and a couple other companies make that barrel in a variety of diameters from 6.03 - 6.05
