My GBB front sight just fell off WHAT THE FUCK?
I have shot about 10 mags through my KJW Sig P226 and I put it down on the table. I come back to it a few minutes later and the front sight is just detached from the gun. The screw or whatever was in there seems to have broken in half. What the FUCK?
10 mags in and the SIGHT falls off? The sight fits in the groves but is loose and can be moved. I took an allen wrench to it and now its sturdy but off by a millimeter... what the hell is this sorcery? Now I cant take the sight off cuz no matter how long i turn the allen wrench, its still there (it feels stripped) |
Epoxy, that's what the fuck.

Probably the RCMP trying to vibe you out. They sneak into peoples houses and mess with their airsoft gear. The moment you posted on here you were marked.

still waiting for any positive help and answers as to how the fuck this happened and how an allen wrench somehow fixed it.
|
My guess? KJs aren't exactly thousand-dollar BB-spewing machines. The tolerances probably aren't amazing, and the metal is soft. The force of the slide moving after all that shooting probably rattled the screw so much that it either dug into the soft metal, or made it come loose. You probably used that allen wrench to force it back into a place where it originally didn't belong, digging it into a position it wasn't intended to, thus why the sight is now off.

And for some reason my front sight has a hole for an Allen Wrench which fixed the problem (kind of) Arent they supposed to come with nonadjustable sights? |
