Weights in the stock of l96 rifles

I am currently in the final stages of upgrading my l96. I have upgraded every internal and rigorously fine tuned it until it became a very powerful and accurate tool. I am now working on making the weapon more silent.

I bought a silencer and modded it (unlike what most people say, i have recorded a noticeable difference in pitch of the shots fired)

I have also installed a sorbo pad and am now in the process of foaming the stock.

firstly, if anyone has any suggestions on the best way to foam the stock, please leave a comment.

But to the point, when taking the stock apart, i found a few heavy weights. One in the butt ( haha -.-), and another two in the stock. Now I have done a fair bit of research and have found no relation between the weights and the functionality (or any technical aspect) of the rifle.

I was wondering if i should remove these the lessen the weight of the rifle. I know the balance will move towards the front, but since almost all of by shots are made from prone with a bipod, this will have no effect.

Any comments are greatly appreciated :D

They are there for the balance. You can remove it if you want, but I wouldn't if I were you. Unsupported shooting or just carrying the gun around will suck.
