Semi Auto misfire

Hey guys, I recently replaced my AEG's trigger assembly.

Dry firing my AEG, auto and semi work fine. When its loaded, semi sometimes fires bursts of 2 or 3 instead of a single shot.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

1st change cutoff lever. if that doesn't work change sector gear.

It was working fine before I changed my trigger contacts, so could it mean that I simply installed the cutoff lever wrong?

That little cutoff lever spring missing ? Your M-box ver ? or gun, name of brand are good thinks to know next time :)

yes it is possible. your symptoms are more signs of wear, though

Its a CA G36, I believe they run V3 mech boxes. I just stripped my piston, so I replaced it just now. The cut-off lever is there and spring is there.

I suspect now that the problem may be the cutoff lever not pulling the trigger contacts far enough away. Originally the trigger contacts were a bit too wide to make full contact, so I bent one over to ensure contact on a trigger pull.

The thing I don't understand is that it works fine when I dry fire, then when I load BBs it is inconsistent

I guess I'll just change that all out later when I can fork up the cash.

Today I asked somebody in person and he said it might be the selector plate. I did notice that the original CA trigger assembly had a piece of metal sticking out rubbing against a piece of metal on the selector plate. The KA trigger assembly that I installed did not have that. Does anyone know what that does?

Selector plate and fire selector assembly maybe out a tooth. That little metal thing that looks like a dumb bell.
See the more INFO you add the more we are able to help you.

Cheers

What do you mean by out a tooth?
