KSC G19 upgrade

Hey all. Im thinking about getting a threaded barrel for my G19 so that I can put a sick supressor on it. First of all, to those that have done this, where did u get such a barrel? What make and from where? Also, what silencer do you think would go with this? I need something light-weight cause glocks apprently use the browning system to cycle rounds. That way it wont interfere with the blowback. I might as well just upgrade the slide, which means i need to upgrade the spring, then the high flow valve, then the hammer....ugh, airsoft is so expensive.

Also, if any of you guys have any videos of silenced guns, whether real of airsoft, feel free to post here as well. Thanks!

Looks to me that there areent alot of options to putting a silencer on a G19.
You will definately need an outter barrel thats threaded, only one I found was this:

Then choose a silencer that fits that threading that isnt too huge. Like this one:

Keep it under 120mm in length, and it should be good.

Be sure to check out the reviews for G19 threated barrels, though. I seem to recall that the G&G version isn't too great. Try the Shooter's Design G19 threaded barrel.

Good luck.

Shooter Design stuff is really top notch.

YourPusher May 29th, 2005 19:38

Yea, i meant to say the Shooters Design outer barrel. Apparently, those are really good threaded barrels since its all one peice, as opposed to the G&G where there is an adapter in between.

The only place I could find a Shooters Deign barrel is at DenTrinity and im not sure whether I can import an outer barrel from Hong Kong without it being seized by customs. I guess the only other thing I could do is ask Will from SpecArms to special order it for me. I doubt anyone on these boards has it.

But yea, that silencer looks pretty good, i might get it. It has to be light-weight but still look "cool". Hard to find, but once I do, ill be sure to post around here to make u guys drool. Hehe. Man, this airsoft stuff is wearing down my wallet.

Thnx!

Woah, a silencer would look real nice on a glock 19. Does anyone know if the Shooter's Design G19 Threaded Barrel would work with a KJW Glock 23? Both Glock 19 and 23s look the same but are the barrels any differnt?

I have the G&G metal slide kit w/ threaded outer barrel.

I use this suppressor with it:

Works great. Serious modifications were not required for the installation, but I did polish the underside of the top of the slide to relieve friction against the chamber.

YourPusher May 29th, 2005 21:34

you can import that kinda stuff from the states without seizures?

ILLusion May 30th, 2005 00:10

I'm a distributor for Wargamer's Club and UNCompany.

If you need something, get in touch with me.

Does anyone know where I can get a Shooters Design outer barrel? None of the local retailers here have access to it....

Mantelope June 2nd, 2005 22:24

Read the post above yours.

YourPusher June 3rd, 2005 13:02

Ive already contacted him. Neither UN or WGC have that item. I wouldn't have posted if I hadn't read my own thread :D

TheYellowDart June 3rd, 2005 13:42

It's available at Den Trinity, but no retailers here like to deal with them.

YourPusher June 3rd, 2005 15:11

And im assuming I can't order from them cause it'll be seized by customs right? Yeesh...what a predicament.

ILLusion June 3rd, 2005 16:10

More like you can't order from Den because they'll never reply to your order requests...
