Saiga parts

Hi, so Ive decided to start putting together some items for an airsoft saiga 12 that Ive been thinking about but am having a really weird issue. For some reason I cannot find anyone who sells saiga front grips or any non restricted parts (tacti-lame or stock) to canada. even ebay.ca lists them but when you check the sellers info they say NO canadian orders for gun parts, period! I've thought about settling and going with something "similar" to a saiga grip but it just hurts me deep down to think of it. anyone have any ideas?

Is the Saiga not a 12.5 prohib as an ak variant?
Would many have been imported before the prohibition order of C68 so I dunno if youll get parts in Canada.

ITAR regs in US prevent a lot of firearms stuff leaving there but dont think stocks or furniture are included, not sure but many sites dont sell outside US.

Maybe try European or UK websites.

If ebay.ca lists them, I suggest to contact the seller about it. I recently bought a nvg helmet mount.. it did the same to me, showing me that it is restricted and I couldn't bit on it. I contacted the seller, told him about it and he gaved me his paypal address and I bought it right away.

Parts wouldn't matter. Like everything else, only the receiver would be prohibited.

Only Saiga 12 I've seen is the custom one made by redwolf.

Yuck, no idea why they have that Krinkov sight on it.

ya it should have a folding stock too and not be a single shot aeg. ill take a look and see what i can find. contacting the seller is a good idea, it made no sense that grips would be restricted.

also the saiga is based off a 74 style receiver and not a 47 lol

I'd be pretty careful sniffing round for Saiga parts. Particularly in open forums.

even if it's for an airsoft build.

ya i did consider i might draw some attention. its still for legitimate airsoft purposes tho so other than the police showing up at my door and asking questions theres not alot thats gonna happen considering everything going into it has been bought within canada and in full compliance with our laws.

i could always be wrong tho, it is the rcmp and if you get under their skin they dont forget you.

Why? Anything except the receiver would be perfectly legal.

I wasnt sayin they were just that as there are probably very few saigas in canada, if any, therfore no demand for parts.

Yes, but ordering from outside Canada would be no problem, that was my main point.

if anyone has any suggestions on where to find the front grip im still looking :) ive contacted a few retailers so far and sent an email to western gun parts but nobody can help me out. ebay only has the tactical grips and id like to avoid those if possible because i want it to look military issue
