g&g m4 commado

hi i have a g&g m4 commando, today when i hooked the battery up it went super hot and i hear sizzling so i quickly unplugged them. Do you think the gun is damaged?? Or just the batterys!

Please help freaking out here! The guns 3 days old

I had the same problem with my G&G.

All you have to do is replace the battery.
I recommend Intellect.
I recommend you also get a smart charger.

there's a short somewhere. could be the battery or within the gun. Check the battery for any exposed insulation. then check the gun.

RITZ everywhere!!! I'll stop. ;)

the battery plug in on the gun has melted, i think i have 30days warranty so im going to bring it back to the store tomorrow. Hopefully its just the battery and the gun plug in that need fixed.

The batteries that come with those G&G guns are known for causing problems. That would be the first thing I would try.

Also, please fill out your profile (Location, .ect) so we can better help you

well i took the back stock off and unscrewed whatever tube that is on the back, found pinched wires now my guns in peices and im about to start shedding tears lol.

Where did you purchase it?

I believe G&G cansoft guns have a warranty (A rare thing in the world of airsoft)

Even if its not covered by a warranty, wiring is cheap. If you have any experience with a soldering iron, you can do it yourself.

If not, I'm sure you could find a gun-tech locally who would help you out.

drek January 30th, 2011 23:53

do you think its covered under warranty even if i caused it?? i think i was tightening the rear stock cause it felt loose...not my fault the wires pinched, right or wrong? The guns in pieces now so when i bring it to the store i hope they dont use that as an excuse to void warranty.

and yes i have 30days warranty, i bought the gun 3 days ago.
