Systema A to Z motor

Has anyone purchased systema's new motor yet? I'd like to know how it compares to the magnum in terms of ROF @ 400 fps. I can't find any comparison charts specifically for ROF as its fairly new. I did find an interesting chart showing that its more of a power sucker than the magnum and that its top speeds are lower as well.

How is it even possible for a motor to be more of a power hog than a magnum???
The whole reason the magnum sucks up so much juice is because it ARCS between it's posts. Whoever decided to put a metal end bell between a positive and negative pole is a freaking retard.

I stay away from any garbage motors that systema makes, as far as I'm concerned they're all crap. Without insulating the poles you can't even use it with an SW-comp, and it generally cuts your power efficiency by more than half. Even the PTW motors they put in $2400 guns were screwy.

If your using the motor to pull a 450fps spring, your better off buying a G&P M140, it's cheaper, and consumes far less amperage.

+1, or even an element High Torque motor, its a very reasonable motor for 25 bucks, i Run one in a m140 on a 11.1v 2300 mah 20c lipo with stock m14 ratio gears (21. something) and im getting about 24 bps.

Yea Element motors are awesome! Guarder and the newer JG motors are good cheap brands as well. I don't give a damn when ppl tell me to stay away from Chinese brands. It's inexpensive and it works and should it die, I can buy 4 more for the price of a Systema motor!

This. I have heard that the jg high torque motor with a blue end bell can pull a m160 on standard ratio gears, I remember someone doing this on airsoft mechanics or something. The only thing that is holding back these Chinese motors are the brushes they use. I bet if you swap out the stock brushes with some carbon silver compound brushes you will have an amazing motor, but there is probably no need because they work gravy right out of the package.

The only time you really see quality differences in motors is when you count how many mags you get out of a battery, or if your using an SW-comp and using lots of semi auto.
High current draw motors overheat quickly and cause the SW-comp to shut off.
And just as well, high current draw obviously eats more battery power, so you get less mags out of a battery
