Best Mid-Caps out there?

I was wondering, which would be considered the best mid-cap magazines for the AR platform avalible for airsoft currently in Canada?

Also which "real"-cap magazines are also considered the best currently being brought into Canada?

there is no best or worst. There's only what works with your gun. Every gun will like some mags and feed well while other mags won't even fit into the mag well.

Wont lie, MAG brand mid-caps seem to work really well. I havent had a problem with them. And theyre a decent price too.

But +1 to the post above, some guns/mags are picky.

Magpul PTS 120 rounders. Versatile and consistent. Always the best choice for reliable midcaps.

KA metal mags are awesome... I have a TM and a CA and they feed great! Both the regular style and VN mags

Magpul PTS Pmags. (not the shitty greenbox ones though)

+1

Rule of thumb that I've learned is that TM is best for other models (G3, M14)

The best I found are Star L85 130rnd midcaps.

Theses only specifically have a rubber base plate instead of the regular metal one, kinda looks like a bumper. They feed so good that a friend of mine has them and I keep harassing to buy them from him. They are discontinued everywhere though.

ya im a fan of either the king arms producs for their quality and price also a big fan of the box sets of pmags the real caps not the green lable ones

HKGhost December 11th, 2010 14:01

everyone says Pmag are good and all but I had fitment issue with the Gen1 pmags. Didn't fit into my CA M4's mag well and when I got it to fit, feeding issues were endless. I'm not saying pmags are shit, it just depends on your gun. I did have great experience with MAG brand mags. Fit all my gun and feeds well.

All really depends on what you are using. From receiver to gearbox to hopup to BB's even.

I have no issues with the feed plagued plastic KA midcap nor have I filed the retaining clip. I really like the metal CA 130rd midcap but as they age they do start have fixable problems. Springs need to be stretched and the entire feed path needs a bit of lube more regularly. Have not had any problems with a couple of S Arms 160rd metal midcaps.

Well if the company name is MAG... they must be good  But in all seriousness MAG brand mags are gravy.

I realized something, looking at retailers online.

Apparently, my mind went from "real cap" to "Mid Cap" to donate magazines that take less then Hicaps. I was thinking "Low Cap" apparently, in the 50-80 round range. :banghead:
