KJW Flow Valve Disassembly: Help Please

I'm in the middle of cleaning my GBB & mags for the Caps certification this friday. I took a magazine flow valve out and re-lubed the rings.

When I actuate the valve I can hear grit inside the valve that is causing the valve to creep closed rather than a quick smooth motion of open-close.

Normally valves can be broken down further by removing the butterfly clip on the rear valve button. Problem is with the KJW mag valves there is no exposed butterfly clip:

Anyone know how to take this valve down further from this point?? I've got to clear out the gunk.

Thanks,
Ryan

look at the other end. is there a clip or screw there to remove?

worse case, dunk it in silicon oil and swish it around. hopefully you can dislodge any dirt that is in there. I would remove any orings first though if you're going to dunk it. you don't want them to swell up too much from the oil.

The soak worked great.

Thank you.

I was taking apart a TM one, and it doesn't have a c-clip like the WE valve. Turns out that the "button" and the valve were press fitted. However if the center rod is bent by the slightest bit, then the seal is no good.
