ILoveWesternArms website

This could be old but I just came across this site (http://westernarms.net/index.html) several months back, and I wonder...how in the heck does this guy in his mega collection that would probably dwarf all of our collections combined get so many custom-made parts? There are so many custom guns in his collection I'd pay both my arms and legs for if they were available...

he is either extremly rich or he is a outa work retailer

RacingManiac September 11th, 2010 14:18

Japanese takes their airsoft very seriously...

Brokenwings September 11th, 2010 14:38

i just jizzed my pants. wtfh.

wind953 September 11th, 2010 14:38

Yeah...for that kind of collection and commitment you either need have retired (hence the time to maintain that collection) really rich, or some lotto winner.

Amos September 11th, 2010 15:34

You don't really need to maintain plastic airsoft pistols when they're behind glass lol...

It's not like they'll rust or anything.

Cyklops September 11th, 2010 15:36

I really wouldn't see the point in having that many airsoft guns. I buy airsoft to use in games, not put behind glass and even if he plays I doubt its even possible to ever use all of those guns eventually. If I had a guns collection this big, it would be real guns...

Amos September 11th, 2010 15:37

You can't own real guns in Japan. That's the basis for why airsoft exists lol

FACE September 11th, 2010 15:40

Looks to me like they were a retailer at some point and these might be the promo guns or something. Like Cyklops said, no point in owning that many if all you're going to do is have them behind glass. But than again, I'm a minimalist and don't see the point in owning any type of collection. A few maybe, just not a plethora.

Collecting airsoft in Japan? Why?

You can have a RS collection in Canada as well as long as you are licensed and registered....and you can certainly do the same in US.....

Hey hey you guys found my site, what do you think?!

faithless September 11th, 2010 20:35

In fact, that maybe worth of 4-5 years to collecting. I don't see the money problem. It is more about how to get some of the limited edition and store all the guns. Some limited edition in Japan does not provide shipping. You will have to be physically there to get one. Well, other than people buy multiple and sell on ebay.

Like I said, I don't see the money problem. A high school student who does some part time job will be able to have such collect. Not in one night of course, but over time.

Still I need get a towel and clean myself up.

There's always a guy who has to have most in any hobby. The support for this collection must be huge. I mean storage and alarms for the room or place he keeps them must be off the wall. Or he could have them in a cardboard box under his bed lol.
