Ebairsoft's AABB HR style GLOCK Carbine Conversion Kit

Ahh. Looks sooo sexy. Looks like the magpul FPG, but nonfolding.

Question is, will this make it into the country? ;)

Thoughts?

Also, I have an 18C AEP. I wonder if that'd fit into it. I have no idea on how this clone kit works. Could just be a shell.

sushicake July 30th, 2010 10:58

It should fit, it says for KSC, ARMY and Marui. So I'm guessing the Glock18 just goes into it and locks onto the frame.

Strelok July 30th, 2010 11:01

Think any other type of glock will fit? I'd love a semi auto carbine like that...

Edit: A G17 seems able to fit... Hmmmm. Think a KJW will work? It seems to just fit onto the frame of the pistol more than anything else.

Love July 30th, 2010 11:13

I'd have to order a TM 18C model. As my Glock AEP is a CYMA 18C. But can this make it through the border? If so, I'm buying one. aha

Conker July 30th, 2010 11:40

TM is coming it with a GBB G18C. AFAIK this product isn't for the AEP.

Notice that there is a different version for the KSC and another for the TM... so it's probably more than just a "casing".

That being said, it's written "for KSC G17/18C" and "for TM G17/18C" so... you've got your answer. It does fit the G17.

Strelok July 30th, 2010 11:46

Edit : wasn't paying attention/reading when i made this post. Nevermind. Lol

Love July 30th, 2010 11:48

But its a case. So a CYMA/TM G18C AEP would fit... I think?

Strelok: "The Kit come as the second photo , the photo shown Sling, Glock17, Scope, Magazine are not included !!!!! "

HERA ARMS Glock Conversion Kit

For the airsoft clone you will need a glock with a removable trigger pin

Unlike the clone the RS version 2 mounts by clamping down on the pictanny rail in front and bar pin in mid frame. Wonder how will this clone will hold up as RS is stainless steel reinforced throughout the body.

Love July 30th, 2010 12:29

But why does it need to have a removable trigger pin? I dont get it. Does thet help hold it in?

And Qlong, does that statement mean that my AEP wont fit? I could mod it to fit, yes?

Qlong July 30th, 2010 12:38

Er. well technically you can just use the front rail, but your glock will tend to bend up and down considerably due to the elasticity of the ABS frame. Yes the pin holds it in place, however I'm not familiar with AEP internals, so I can't tell you if you can drill into the frame.

Love July 30th, 2010 12:42

Yea, I do see something drilled into the gun in the pics. ( I see a screw going through the glock.)

I'd have to open it up to see, or find some other alternate way to hold it in place.
And by front rail, are you referring to the rail on the bottom of the front of the glock? (Like the one thats slightly out of focus in your sig)

tehmedic July 30th, 2010 13:16

haha looks a bit like the Kriss Vector

Yep that's the rail.

Lord of Rebirth July 30th, 2010 14:14

Seems like it ought to get through but could it perhaps be classified as a frame or miss-seen to be possibly functional with a RS glock and therefore considered a problem? Like if you had a legal RS glock what is the legal requirements for importing the RS kit? Perhaps having the legal authority to bring in the RS ones would be a "safe" way to bring in the clone airsoft kit.

To bad it requires a full glock as I can't get one yet. I'll probably have to find an FPG and just get the slide assembly....

Love July 30th, 2010 23:57

Yea, I wanna order. But Im afraid it'd get seized.

EDIT: Since noone seems to know if it would get seized or not, should I just take the risk? If not, who the heck can I ask for a definite awnser? Probably noone.
