Weak ICS selector switch

Hi guys,

is it just me or do ICS M4's have weak selector switches? You sneeze and the selector switch moves from full auto to semi or safe.....or somewhere in between. I need to make it much tighter/stiffer so it doesn't turn and move out of position when my gun is hanging....any ideas? I already stretched the tiny spring behind the metal ball on the switch itself but it doesn't help much at all....and the spring compresses again so whatever stiffness the switch had goes away....

I would love any ideas please!!!

Get the spring from a BIC lighter and cut it to the size you want.

Thanks guys!

Raisin Bran I did something similar.....I cut a small round piece of leather and dropped into the hole that holds the spring so that the spring will sit higher. Works great. But I'm liking the bic lighter idea a bit better....so I'll probably do that.

thanks!
