well i dont think that classic army's mini gun has hit the market yet.
so we have to wait but the echo 1's mini gun was like around $3500 USD. So I would guess that it could be around same price range

StrikeFreedom January 17th, 2010 19:32

It's cool and everything, but I doubt it's practical in a game, be it outdoor or indoor.

GMoney January 17th, 2010 19:55

Shes pretty...Wouldn't want to meet that on the field..would be neat to buy though just for the intimidation factor.

KoolAidMan January 17th, 2010 19:58

I think that would be wicked to hook up to an auto turret or use it for a fields stationary machine gun nest

GMoney January 17th, 2010 19:59

That apple didn't stand a chance....Poor thing.

U know what i think it's practical for CTF or may be mount top of vehicle or something. It would b great for using this mini gun as defends. i don't think anyone could carry this to shoot people while running or just to get steady aim with it.. unless U R like Arnold Schwarzenegger or chuck liddell...

iggim109 January 17th, 2010 20:28

hay guys here is some clip for Echo 1 mini guns power

YouTube- Will it Shred? - 8-Pack of soda - Redwolf Airsoft

Echo 1 didn't make the M134 the actual manufacturer is CAW (Craft Apple Works) from Japan

iggim109 January 17th, 2010 21:37

oh really????

Ronan January 17th, 2010 21:50

cool. u learn something every day

EagleDriver January 18th, 2010 00:05

I had one of the Echo 1 (CAW) miniguns for sale last year. There is a warning in the manual that if you use it for one minute straight, you have to let the motor cool for 15 minutes.

There is no price on the CA gun yet (I don't know if CA makes it or re-brands it) because it hasn't made it to the US distributor (Spartan Imports) yet.

Actually the recommendation is no more than 5 second burst (1 missisippi, 2 miss....) each trigger pull to ensure that the motor wont burn out and as for CA minigun I highly suspect it's going to be a rebrand unless CA is that ballsy and willing to gamble based on the popularity and hopefully a huge return on investment in the US/Asian market to actually build one from scratch (design, R&D, manufacturing etc.)

Yes. Echo1 doesn't actually make anything, they just rebrand guns and sell them. (and do more QC, etc)

would redesigning it to use better quality parts still count as a clone?

Not really but to redesign something to make it better still cost a butt load of cash especially on something big and expensive as the M134, on the other hand Classic Army have been doing a good job so far fixing up TM weak points.

SuperCriollo January 18th, 2010 21:07

hoooo it runs with HPA, nice......

Bissa January 18th, 2010 21:28

now imagine two of these setup as an automatic turret. I know it would be heavy as hell but imagine trying to get past it.

Green January 18th, 2010 22:31

The separate gas chamber really ruins it.......too close to paintball

Just makes it more practical and louder :), I imagine one of those bitches having quite the distinctive sound fired in your direction.

Eien January 19th, 2010 00:42

lol I can imagine someone bring this for a outdoor game.

I got shot by one of the old ASAHI M134 that belong to one of the AMC players years ago at the old Wasaga field, all I can say is thank you Larry and the rest of the boys if it were not for you guys seperating us I would be in Jail for shoving that 6 barrel thunderstick up his ass.

The Asahi was Loud in comparison to an AEG or even a GBBR That hellish "WrrrrrrBraaaappp" noise that it makes still made me tingle (I was pulling BB's out of my hair/head the next day)

Didn't you guys watch the video before commenting? Or were you all mesmerized by Maria?

The CA is a licensed copy of the Piper Precision minigun.

I'd say more like 7k or 8k and I don't think we'll see cansoft versions.

U know what U never know man. i mean who will be idiot enough to make this mini gun into cansoft, but U naver know.

Drake January 19th, 2010 12:50

It might be cheaper (in the US): Piper's stuff is American-made, this will be made in HK perhaps with different (cheaper) materials. This may very well be why CA are doing a run of it.

As for a bastardsoft version, wtf? For that kind of money it better be black and all metal. We have at least one retailer that carries black CA.

Just shove it in the ammo container you'd be lugging around. It's not like you'd be feeding a minigun with mags. Plus its a man-packed minigun, the realism is dodgy right from the start anyway.

hay guys here is another clip about ECHO 1 CAW m134 mini gun
