at first they were a bitch but I eventually got used to them they are not that bad once you work in the release knob on the KA Fal, I'm looking for a bigger tab to replace the stock version, eventually you can do a AK style tacticool reloads

you should have been there last night, got some really cool grenade shot especially the one fired from one of the windows toward the second floor netting two kills, the launcher also saved my ass as i was reloading under fire (need a bigger vest pocket for the mags)

Double M4 mag pouches will hold 1 FAL mag no prob...as long as there isn't sometype of separator or tight elastic clincher. I got 5 more double pouches to load out and have some spares.

I bought a Weesatch (wassatch?...don't really know the difference) and the internal pockets fit them no prob.

I also have an Arktis DPM rig...those massive pockets naturally fit them no prob.

Jay, you'd probably like the Arktis rig the best.

i looked at those, not to crazy about the DPM or woodland colours, I was wondering if the AK chest rig will fit these

May I suggest a HSGI Woosatch (Wasatch without internal pouches), and some .308 shingles?

I have a modded HSGI Wesatch (modded to be more like the Woo). Very awesome rig. Especially if your frame is a bit on the wider side.

Just FYI:
They are the same thing, except the Weesatch is smaller. The Woosatch has no internal pockets. :D

Well after a couple of months, and getting all the external kit squared away. Now for a few pictures of my Classic Army SA58 OSW.

Oh for those who may have a violent reaction to rails on an FN FAL - turn your head away from the screen NOW.

The M4 Aimpoint and M910 Surefire are from Huang, and work quite well.

And for those in the back row that missed those shots, here are a few more.

The Chest Rig is the Tactical Tailor MAV 1 piece with custom made Tactical Tailor FN FAL 30rd mag pouches, and 4 of the standard 7.62 magazine pouches shingled on the front of them.

ahh very kool, I think I traded you an OD pant before so that's what it was for..

As for the PEQ2 box, I am not a fan as well, but that is the only place my batter will fit. There is no room anywhere else on the gun to put the battery. That is the primary FAIL of the SA58OSW. All the other SA58 series take the battery in the stock.

It is just barely (1.5 to 2 inches) longer than an MP5DS, and again just a tad longer (2 to 2.5 inches) longer than a AKSU or MP5.

The Upgrades I have left to do are for performance. A tightbore barrel, and have it tuned for 340 to 350 fps.

I have only used this gun outdoors thus far, and it performs without issues.

Hey FAL owners, (King Arms to be specific) has anyone had problems with their pistol grip breaking? Where the screws follow through into the receiver.

Does anyone know where to get a KingArms FAL carbine? I know that this is an old thread...It's close to Halloween so I resurected it!! There are several of the CA ones for sale but the mags are only high caps and I prefer mid caps. I can't seem to find anyone selling the KA variants anywhere not even privately! Please help.

I've seen the screws loosen on a few (wobbly grips) but not break. I'm assuming you mean "break" as in the plastic of the grip where the screw passes through is cracking/breaking?

Could you reinforce it with epoxy and a metal washer or sheet of thin metal? I cannot recall how much space there is on the upper side of the grip.

good luck finding one I don't even think King Arms make them anymore, I love mine and i want it to be buried with me when I'm dead.

They are so sexy... Especially with the RIS/RAS like Jugglez original post... makes me want one. Honestly one of the sexiest AEG's Ive seen!

Yup, the actual plastic in the grip went and broke on me.

That's what I was considering. Little bit of something here and there for good measure.

You can get Mids for the CA.
Have to do some heaving looking, but they are out there. I cannot recall where, but Mr.Shiney got some for his.

I have had no luck finding the KA versions, only mags for them. I have to agee that the SA58 is one gorgeous weapon. The SLR, L1, C1 are all far to long for what I need. I will keep on looking for a KA.

I found both the OSW and the Carbine version for sale, both CA not KA. I have bought the Carbine. It's freaking hard to find mid caps and I also want to replace the front end with the rails, another hard item to find. I can find mags and rails for KA, but not the rifle! I can find the CA rifles but not the mags or rails.......FRUSTRATING!!!!

Daytona Gun CA SA58

I tend to prefer my FAL the way I like my AK - basic with wood furniture. I don't know, but while the railed / composite furniture versions do look sweet, there's just something about that no frills, down to business classic wood look.

Can't go wrong with WOOD

Very nice actually. Wood M16 looks cool. I think as a very modern rifles, it looks better with plastic / composite parts, rails, etc. But this is a very basic and elegant look.

KA FAL use a generic V3, whether it will fit or not we will have to see when they released it, their V2 will drop into a G&P, VFC, KA with no issue with a CA you have to do a little dremmeling. Reliability winner has to be polarstar hands down when compared to daytona, as the polarstar unit have very little moving parts compared to Daytona with it's multiple seals and other moving parts. Realism wise the Daytona wins hands down with their blowback and recoil, but rumor has it that Polarstar is developing a recoil feature on their fusion engine too.

Haven't seen any FNC's up yet... might as well throw the FAL's little brother in here :)

You might want to contact airsoftparts.ca to see if he can get you the charging knob.
In the past, he's been excellent in getting KA parts.

A VFC XCR charging handle fits right in.


Also I would love to put a P* engine in my KA FAL. If someone has done it yet please reply and let us know how it went.
