Just got some news of this CP body armor. The whole set includes body armor vest, 9 pouches and the blast belt. The price is unbelievable, around $200. MUCH cheaper than whatever you can find on the market now while the quality will be better.

BTW, the new batch multicam combat set will be available next weekend. Whoever didn't get their size in last batch can pre-order to reserve one. I will have some extra sizes available later in coutnry for exchange in case the size doesnt fit.

And could you ask your guys if they could make the CP range vest as well? Another essential piece to add to the whole Multi-Cam ensemble.

good god huang. ill for sure place an order. also is there a possability to get a few or a small batch made from production multicam rather than replicam for those interested? (ie. mcguyver and i!)

Great. I am waiting for the factory the give me the estimate how much fabric needed for a body armor. Once I can get the numbers, I will start a thread to do a head count and contact CP for pricing.

Allright. Get the numbers.

A body armor requires 60 inch x 2.6 yard fabric.

Multicam 1000 denier Cordura™ nylon 60 inc x 1 yard US$12.10

For a body armor, $32 extra at least. This doesn't include the shipping/handling/markup. So I guess a body armor made by real CP fabric would be around $100 extra on top of the current estimated price of the repro fabric body armor, which comes to around $300, plus shipping.

I think the final price would be around the same price as the gunvest's body armor($350) but built by genunie CP fabric.

Anybody wants one, PM me ASAP. I would do a headcount by this friday and process depending on how many people wants it.


BTW, this body armor 's pictures has never been released.

Well before ordering I would like detailed pictures on how its built, double stiched, and etc.... For sure I would be up for a real multicam, for 350, I guess anyone here would like real multicam at that price.

do you have a guesstimate on when the batch of copy armor is gonna arrive at the store? could they be coming in with the fresh combat shirts and pants? i planning on invading this weekend :D

im takling about the limited run made from production multicam, not the replicam. is it the same thread? how are you going to differeciate between those that want the limited run and the replica?

No genuine multicam fabric version for the coming batch. The next batch will be in 6 monthes from now. So the pre-orders are only for repro multicam fabric body armor.

I see that there is one size but could you give us an idea of the min and max that this vest will fit. I know on some of the sites selling vests it will say that it fits someone 5'9" or shorter or give a max chest size of 46" or smaller. Any info on the specs for these vests?

The size is the medium size of the real CP body armor. I can't seem to find the specs of the medium.

no from what huangs told me no belt and no pouches. thast the kicker. get real multicam (if the vest does get produced in real mc) or get this in replicam, but get it fully loaded.

replicam - avail now, and fully loaded

pro-cam - 6 months window, unloaded

tough call, my worry is that the production multicam idea will get scrapped and ill miss out on this vest.

Anyone got a picture from Huang's multicam compared to real multicam? I Use real multicam and I dont wanna buy something that will be totally off color.....

I want real multicam too. if you still do an order in 6months for it im so in.

the colour comparison isnt far off. huang's combat shirt compared to propper real mc pants is nominal and is only truly noticable when you're looking for it. it's actually broken up and harder to detect because of the stretchy part of the shirt. i'd suspect that the armor would be similar in colour depth.

I ordered 2 sets of combat uniforms back. However one difference I did notice was that the Replicam that Haung has is actually alot more "greener" then the Crye ones. My combat pants take on a more "brownish tannish" around the background and Haung's is noticeable greener. One thing that bugs me is that one set is greener then the other but no biggie overall.

I just hope the armor's color doesn't come out like the pantac multisham with the god awful brown.

Here's some photo's with different lighting for indoors and gives you a good comparison of the HUANGBRAND MC combat shirt with real MC fabric. As duckman pointed out, at first glance you dont notice the difference.

one of your competitors released a version of the armour (not in MC) that comes with the dual hyrdration pouch system as shown in the below pic (courtesy of militarymorons). will you be offering those pouches seperatly later on?

The manufacturer I work with doesn't like make things up. If anyone has or is able to acquired one of those hydration pouche, I would love to buy it.

Crye does like their Multi-Cam, and it's their vest that Huang's guys have so skillfully knocked-off. That's pretty much all they do, with a few rare exceptions. I think that's why he lol'd!! :D

The whole point of this thing is to duplicate a hard to find MC set. That is what the market wants...

why would CP make it in Khaki? the same reason the nockoffs should. somepeople don't like/want Multicam. Yeah sure there are plenty of other carriers but if you want this look but no multicam your stuck finding a real one and like you said their hard to find I'd have to say harder to find then MC set. So it seems the point is the same for Khaki or multicam.
