is the gas emitted poisonous if inhaled?
Same directions that gets posted over and over again. It works well but most feilds won't allow you to use it because of the risk of fire and injury
Awsome both if them
I've always wondered the same thing... is the smoke toxic?
apparently not.
The main ingredient, potasium nitrate, is illegal to buy in Canada without a licence of some sort.
The smoke is not toxic. I made hundreds of smoke bombs with potassium nitrate 20 years ago when I was a kid and I'm still alive. We never cooked it though.

We even experimented with it in physic at school. If i'm not mistaken, it's even found in solute when they plug you up at the hospital. |

Really ? Salt Peter is not Illegal Greg..nor is potassium Nitrate..its fertilizer and available at Ritchie's and other home gardening centers as well as co/ops etc. |
When I went a few months ago to Richhies, they told me they do not sell to the public.

Maybe you looked like a terrorist. |
Little ol me in my civies, I highly doubt.

Potassium nitrate is not illegal. Combining it into a pyrotechnic mixture without a factory license issued by these people is. Also, good luck with your future should you burn up someone's property or, God forbid, injure someone. Got insurance?
Before trying your hand at making things that explode and burn, you should see what the consequences are if you fuck up. And having been a professional pyrotechnician for over a decade, I have seen PLENTY of fuck ups. |
