Magazine Vert-grip
Don't like it....I'd rather hold it normally and just tape my mags together...
Uglier things have been bolted to prettier guns, so why not? ;)
can see it becoming a problem when going prone. Looks too big and uncomfortable to grip, it would make a balanced gun front heavy.. and i agree with the looks ***Vomit***
I just wnat to see some dumb ass try to reload by movign the mag in the back to the mag in the front...
Its actually made by an Israeli company who also makes lots of more really neat and revolutionary armalite accessories, PM Lonewolf for more details, he even has one of those from his foreign exchange with the Canadian Forces.
i think they have the same thing in a rail mount. makes the gun unweildly when going prone, i'd rather have it on the stock.
Good idea, but looks pretty fugly. I think that front bit would look pretty good if you could replace the magwell with it. THEN it would look good, and useful.
Depends on the config, but it could make the front way too heavy. In real steel anyways.
It's an interesting idea, but I can't see how it does better than a ready mag. A ready mag wouldn't affect the balence of a rifle much and it wouldn't interfere with prone positions or with cover that you might rest a rifle on. A ready mag also makes it easy to grab the empty and full mags in one hand so it's a quick single move to swap mags and retain the empty if you have large hands.
Jeez, why does nobody realize the practical application this offers?!!! Why have only one??!!! Bwa ha ha ha...

lol I would say its a good idea but not better then a rdy mag like Madmax said...
pretty redundant. why would you do that rather than just carrying the mag in a mag pouch? it wouldnt be a bad idea for security companies/forces or mp's who only wear body armour and only need a few mags, but not for any tactical situation.
I don't like it. The point of it is to use it as a vertical grip though and having the mag handy but I still don't like it.
Hang on a sec......*barfs all over keyboard*....ok much....oh god, not again.....*you get the picture*
ready mags do the same thing except you get a balanced rifle, closer to the mag well, looks better (obv), and allows you to use an actual fucking vert grip. This is a cute idea, but is worthless to actual tactical application.
fast reloading
The idea is to change the clip as fast as you can, if you use a a vertical grip as that one operates you have one hand on each grip, when the clip is done you release the mag with your grip hand and already can start reloading with your 2nd hand. with mag in any other place you have to release and then move you hand towards where ever the mag is. basically its for guys that use a vertical grip.
try it, i cant think of a faster way to reload. |
I think it looks good it is a great idea =]

Sorry. I'll stick to muscle memory and practice.
not that bad if you dont mind ditching the mag before putting the one from the vert grip in. if having such a fat grip was any good, sweden may have adopted the MKS:

Well i dont know much, but im pretty sure a vertical grip is to improve aiming speed and fire stability, ill take an old fashioned KA vert grip ergonomically over that anyday. its like holding on to a g26 without a mag.

IMHO its a pretty fat vert grip
with this kind of grip you dont hald with with the thumb, that way you are not committed to one angle of the barrel. In real rifles it has a use but in airsoft... well thats another story, here you cant ditch the empty mag and replace it with a full one cause yours paying for it and your life dont depend on it, and you dont have a hop up that makes you shoot vertically only.
