Classic army/ armlite availability

Sorry if this has been answered somewhere as I haven't been able to find it. I was looking at purchasing one of the CA/armalite version 4 m4's but i've noticed they seem to be "temporarily unavailable" at almost every online site. Alternatively I could go with the G&P m4 as it's another full metal and i've read some good reviews of it, but I'm just in love with the looks and review of the new CA M4! Any feedback would be appreciated thanks :)

Read the FAQ's and get Age Verified
Here's my free hint, get verified to view the classifieds, if I recall someone is selling a G&P M4 so head down to TTAC3 on Sunday to get it done :)

We should have CA's arriving in around 3 weeks, hopefully. At which point our showroom location will be open at Yonge and Sheppard.

ACA might have some in 3 weeks, according to HoJo. Alternatively, SpecArms does a special order to RedWolf every two months or so, they're just wrapping one up now. Many of the other sites (DEA, A&A, etc) will order them in special for you, too. If I were you, I'd get age verified and contact ACA, since they'll be the closest to you.

MMMiles! June 16th, 2006 21:34

I just shouldn't post anymore.

I am trying to get people to call it ASCA though, but I think it's in vain.

The Saint June 16th, 2006 21:36

Um, I'll try to remember to call it ASCA from now on, will that help? :|

MMMiles! June 16th, 2006 21:42

;)

I just keep seeing "AH KAH" when it's ACA. Maybe it's just me.

I only make the websites after all, it's for the people to decide.

ASCA: "Ah-Ss-Kah"...

TTAC3 , I imagine this is an event, maybe you could clarify this for me :). I'm going to contact Lisa as she appears to be a local rep to get age verified.
I would love to find an event in Toronto so I can see some of the guns in action and find out where people are playing, as one of my friends told me about a year back that it was a problem finding a game.

Honestjohn, i'm glad to hear about your shop opening and the fact that you're not too far from me (i'm near don mills and eglinton) so I definately will be waiting on that armalite shipment.

EDIT: http://ttac3.factoronto.com/about.htm Ok I know what it is and will likely take a trip up there.

Yeah, Brian is now holding the beginners course there every Sunday I believe along with the Age Verification so you can even checkout the facility and all while your there.

attack-beaver June 16th, 2006 22:42

Okay enough freebies, after this start using the FAQ lol

EAGuy June 17th, 2006 00:23

The TTAC3 beginner's course sounds like real genius. I'll be sure to find a free Sunday afternoon to pop by and maybe bring some friends.

stokes June 17th, 2006 01:00

You must be 18 to attend TTAC3. Or your parents consent and their supervision.

EAGuy June 18th, 2006 01:25

I gathered that much. Thank you for informing me.

Information is available if you do basic research; contact the folks who run the games. There's even a link in this thread?
BTW, last I checked, you have to be 18 to attend TTAC.

I've been looking for a CA for a few months now and no-one had them, but i just receved a e-mail from ken at 007 about a shipment of CA's in the next few weeks so keep a close eye on Instock page

DeltaFrosh June 20th, 2006 18:00

Well I just ordered one from 007 unfortunately it was his only one (ken is a very nice guy!), I'm not sure why there seems to be a shortage on them, but in any event I'll be trying to head to TTAC3 sometime within the next 2 weeks. :) It's good to be here and thanks for the heads up on the 007 shipment

evilmonkey June 22nd, 2006 14:26

i to ordered a ca from ken....what did you buy?

DeltaFrosh June 22nd, 2006 15:44

I bought the M15A4 Carbine with the retractable stock. When I spoke with him I asked whether or not it was the version 4, he told me it's the newest version, being v 4 or higher. Also got a 1200 mah mini. The bad news was I ordered via air mail purolator, and when I contacted purolator it was sent by ground so im hoping it'll arrive friday. Ken told me it was sent by air so I'm guessing the purolator person messed up or something :)

evilmonkey June 23rd, 2006 11:25

ya i got my M15A4 carbine today(my dad just picked it up) and it is awesome...i was useing a new battery that i hadn't charged yet and it still cycles faster than my TM M16A2

DeltaFrosh June 23rd, 2006 16:03

Actually I called kevin just 15 minutes ago (hes so helpful) to find out whether or not the battery was shipped charged. He told me they are charged, and to just decharge it, then recharge it around 2.5-3 hours in the case of mine being 1200 mah @ 8.4 volt.

My first impressions on it are very good, it's definately solidly put together, the magazines are stiff at the start but once you load/eject them acouple of times they go in and out very easy. I'm planning to do some target practice tomorrow at my local paintball field which also allows airsoft (sgt splatters).
