Out of curiosity, what type of shipping did you use? The coupon works for all shipping methods, but I'm not sure if I should select a shipping method that costs more then what I'm actually paying.

I'm not sure where mezzi is based, I got mine off of ebay for 74$ and free shipping last summer. Originated from vancouver and was shipped ups ground.

If in doubt, use mail.

I went all out and selected UPS express (yeah I know... only options were UPS ground, express and ... whatever, for me)

Shipping was still 0$ after the coupon;

I have a feeling that with the Freeship coupon they'll use whatever they fancy though

And while I'm at it, what's the stock on the G36?

it's the 39" If you have a full length g36 you will need the 44" one. I tried to fit the E hanguard onto the gun in this case and it was about 2" short.


the stock is the WE IDZ stock, you will need to dremel and file a bit as well as ream the pin hole on the stock wider.. by like.. 1/100th of a mm or less. It locks open and closed just fine.

The free shipping coupon seems to work for UPS Express. Would have been about $125 in shipping costs otherwise.

MAN, You are my internet hero now. I just bought three case, 53'' double case for 2 rifles for the range, 20'' aluminum carry on to replace my old range bag and finally double aluminum pistol case.

lurkingknight gave a good suggestion a few post earlier, if it can help you.

you can also order a skid of pick n pluck from uline if you have 2 or 3 other people to buy in with you. I think minimum order for sheets of 2x2 cubed foam from uline was like 5 or 6 sheets and you need 2-3 to do 1 case. Ultimately I decided to use puzzlemat, but make sure it will fit... my case is 39" and I tripled up... 1 full, 2 cutout all glued together to form my mold... I sort of think about fabric lining it too.

Hey guys. Just so you know, the aluminum cases aren't totally aluminum. I had a couple of the cases, and its the corners and the sides that are aluminum. The body panels are just ABS plastic.

So dont expect to get an all metal gun case, expect the body panels to be plastic.

Just a heads up. But for the price its still worth it :D

Oh I used to have the double pistol case a while ago. Here were some picture if you wanted a better look. Be advised there is no pannle that seperates the two halves. Its just one big pocket. You will need to ad some styrafoam if you want to prop up the eggcrate foam in the case.

Ordered a 39" abs case (reg @ $109.xx) , supposed to pay $54.xx but for some reason i was charged only $35.xx.
i wonder if they would just take the $$$ and ship me the case. Or ask me to pay the $19 difference. But it was their check out that screwed up, not me.

A heads up to those who purchased the double pistol case: you got ripped off.

The "Aluminum Camera Case Black or Silver" is the exact same thing but much cheaper at $49.99 ($25) vs $79.99 ($40), lol.

I guess we'll see when they arrive here; At those prices I don't really care to be honest, still way better than those Can'tire Flamberge case or whatever the name is

I noticed the same thing right before I ordered lol, I ended up with the "camera" case instead, figured I'd take a gamble since the pictures are 100% identical.

FYI I also had the glitch where the 50% off coupon was not calculated correctly, I just restarted my browser and everything worked properly.

I was running into this same issue. The website has issues with the discount when I added and removed items from my cart after I applied the discount code.

Try restarting your browser or use a different one altogether, it worked for me.

I placed the order and paid with PayPal. The payment was taken but I never got an confirmation email from them. Although the site said completed.

mezzi's contact information is an address in richmond bc... I would say it's safe to assume you are being shipped something that's already in country.

The only reason to oppose the ups option at this point is an ethical one if you don't agree with their brokerage policy as a company, but those policies should not be applied to your package.

freeship applies to all 3 UPS options or just the cheapest option?
I know the company is based in BC but I hope the items are also in Canada.

As someone else noted above, the Express option still comes in at $0, but the company could ship by any method if it's free.

it's more than likely ups ground. I have a feeling the one I bought last year also came from the warehouse in richmond, came with free shipping via ups ground. It was about 20 bucks more than this deal. but I have a sneaking suspicion the ebay seller was mezzi in disguise.

I was dicking around their code last night to see if I could get some more discounts, and found that their system removes all coupons (in terms of a dollar amount) from the Promotional Discounts line when you leave the checkout.

Since freeship modifies the Shipping line to $0 (but still retains a dollar amount), it adds back to the Promotional Discount erroneously - causing a negative discount (or basically adding to the price). This happens everytime you leave the checkout with freeship applied (and reapplied).

You can fix it by clearing your cookies and starting fresh, using incognitio mode, or just deleting the cookie "main". With that all said, whoever developed their website should be fired. :p

It applies to all the options on checkout, but I have a feeling they'll disregard what you pick and just use the cheapest option. My finalized receipt doesn't even list which shipping service I selected for some reason.

Mezzo is a Canadian company, founded in Vancouver, so very good odds items are all already in Canada. That and if they are not since they were ordered from a Canadian site they do not cross duties if it crosses the border as you've already paid the Canadian price for it.

As expected, the shipping service is Standard, not Express. Expected delivery date is Monday, even though the item is already in town.

Quick update. I called and spoke to a Rep named Josh. Looks like both coupons are still working. They have extended the free shipping until Feb.15.

I called using the 1-800 number on their site (1-855-727-6395). He gave me my tracking number over the phone, but I may have written it down wrong (or it is too soon after shipping) because the number is not recognized on the UPS tracking website.

He did say that I should expect my order to arrive Monday or Tuesday. Free shipping is free shipping, I can wait over the weekend :D.

Considering this thread was made only on Wednesday and the coupon mostly ended at 12AM today - I'm pretty sure most people ordered around the same time. I made mine at 5AM yesterday and got my tracking today with an expected delivery on Monday or Tuesday.

The quickest "received" comment made their order around 2-3PM on Wednesday and received it today. Hope that helps. :p

Ordered Jan 30th. I never did receive a tracking number but it was waiting for me when I got home today.

Ordered late Thursday night, received order confirmation email Friday, got my tracking number today, shows delivery for tomorrow.

Ordered case Jan. 31, recieved ship info. Feb 1. Delivery scheduled for Feb. 5th, actual delivery date evening of Feb. 4.
It will be nice to have a shorter case: not as difficult to load into the vehicle.

There were no additional UPS fees becuase the items were shipped from within Canada.

Packed well. Double boxed with styrofoam and bubble wrap. 1 day shipping for mine. You will not loose you're metro sexuality taking this case to the range with the shiny silver shoulder straps. Good deal though.

Just got mine today. Ordered Jan 30th. Triple boxed and bubble wrapped. The case also came with a cloth sleeve to fit the whole case, and a shoulder strap. Ordered the 44" black aluminum case, and while it feels solid, some of the panels feel like plastic. None of my panels or hardware is misaligned like in the website picture. Fits one carbine, or 2 SBR's nicely. For $40 shipped to my door, its a really good deal.
