have you ever sold a gun, only to eventually buy the same one again?
 

Just curious to see how many people here sold something, then as time went by, you realized you really liked what you had before? I know remy, (i mean rabbit now) has done this like 3 times lol. and im currently thinking the same thing myself with a gun i sold.

I considered buying a mp5k though I sold one long ago but finally went for a mp5

Pretty much every gun I've owned, I've owned at one time before. In some cases, it was literally the same gun.

It happens when you're too poor to keep all of the guns you want at the same time :p

Bought a PSG-1, used it for 8 years, sold it, moved to Japan, bought a PSG-1, sold it, moved to Canada for a couple years, bought a PSG-1 (traded), sold it, moved to Japan, bought a M4A1.

My Celcius MX2... I sold it like one year ago cause I was out of cash I will regret it all my life. And I almost sold my Vipertech one week ago and I decided to keep it, Its to good to be sold.

airsoft is the only way 99.9% of the public will ever get to own something like a psg1 or wa2000.... I'd have a tm psg1 if I could... that thing is just sexy looking.

I sold a Maruzen M870 2 years ago, and regretted it ever since, and I recently bought a CA870 with a broken M870 included, and I'm 99% sure the M870 is my old one...

Never done it with a gun but my other hobby is racing rc cars competitively and I've taken up and dropped a few race classes more times than i can count.. :(

Ive bought and sold so many hi capa and 1911s. Just when I think I have kicked them, I see one and the whole processes start all again.

Im on my 6th hi capa, and my 4th 1911.

I cant tell you how many sigs I have had over the years. I think I am at 7 now. Im pretty happy with my KSC P226 :D

But I have interestingly bought back something I used to own. I bought some hi capa mags that used to be mine without knowing it haha.

Only did this with the P90. After that, I learned to either hold onto stuff, or not regret selling it. If you've ever experienced how difficult it is to sell some stuff on the classifieds, it's easier to hold back on impulse buys.

Very true. You need to find an impulse buyer or sell it way cheap. Been on both ends of that. I kinda miss my tm deagle. I got too many m4/m16 in pieces. Need to put back together & brave the classifieds with them maybe that will fund a newer deagle

2 or 3x WE SCAR...can't even remember.

Countless pieces for all of them...

I think I've has clse to 15 1911 based guns from all manufactures overs years.

Best was my western arms nickle 1911 only kept it for six months then sold it .

Quite a few stories going around JOC about guns being sold years ago to people out east, then said guns popping up randomly back in the community.

Same with gear. Know of at least 3 chest rigs that have gone across Canada, had 2-3 owners only to end up back with the original owner here in Calgary or with a teammate.

Never! Unless i really hate the gun, I dont plan on selling any of my guns.

im on g36's 5 and 6 right now lol. its the only gun i keep buying again once i sell lmao

Pretty much : first gen was a G36K Gen2 from STAR/ARES, sold it, bought a G36K Gen4 ARES, sold again, and back to my first love with a G36K Gen6 from ARES gain... starting to think I'm gonna have every even generation.

I still regret selling my KSC Glock 17... as ugly as that gun was, it had a special charm to it. Debating either waiting for a TM M&P9 or building a TM Glock 17 nowadays.

I think every model I ever had, I bought or am in the process of buying again...

As some said, usually it's simply because cash it too tight to keep playing more than being tired with the gun...

Then again I am about to buy a PSG-1... that will be the second one... and I got tired of the first one... Hell it might even be the same!

Also bought back one of my guns without knowing... then finding some unique mod I did back then and getting all nostalgic...

TM Hicapa (just bought a new one)
TM P90 (had 2, 3 times. bought back my original a few years after. Sold them all.)
TM PSG-1 (traded for a TM AK-47... fielded it once and sold... and buying an other, maybe same, next week)
Star G36 (bought an ARES later, and a SRC, a KWA and a CA in between)
Maruzen APS-2 T96 (bought and sold at least 4 clones after, with one still here and for sale)
TM VSR-10 G-Spec (bought 2 clones, sold them and bought a PDI/Fortess M40 and sold it... and bought an other full PDI and sold it)
ICS M4/M16 (bought lots, including a clearsoft and a spare receiver. Also got a KA HK416 and M16)
CYMA M14 Socom (bought one brand new, traded sometime ago and bought an other brand new this summer as backup)

I think the gun I had for longest is my WE SCAR... close to a year now!

I don't think I've never bought back the exact one I've sold...but I've definitely bought the same model over (and over) again and absolutely regret selling some.
