evike 2011-2012?

Hey everyone, hope your all doing well.

Well i was gonna place an order on evike.com but as I've learned from past mistakes of online ordering, is to always look up store reviews.

I have seen(searched) a few on here the problem i was having is i was not really able to find and current reviews on them. latest ones were mind 2008 and mind 2009 from various users on here.

Has anyone ordered from there in the last 3 months(ish)??? or just have a genreal idea about them and how there apparently crap customer service and "evike" is in general??

they have some stuff i wanna get and cant seem to find it on other online retailers in North America.

Help with this would be greatly appreciated. Thnx Guys

Yeah I just ordered something becausr I needed it ASAP and nobody else had it. Their shipping and handling fee was outrageous and there was zero communication. I even have a problem with the item, it seems it was assembled wrong and glued together. No reply yet.

Bought stuff from them probably 5 times over the last year, not a single good experience yet.

Flashman January 17th, 2012 14:40

I have placed 4 orders with Evike over the last 6 months and have have zero problems. However, I ship to my US address.

Rainer January 17th, 2012 14:41

I order from them at least once a month with orders averaging $200 per order before shipping. I've never had any issues with them other than the shipping/handling fee being steep, and the communication is not the greatest (ordered a shirt one size too big, sent a email with the order number and requesting one size smaller. One week later when they finally ship it its still the larger size). Evike is great for hard to find items or items that might be out of stock in Asia, it all depends on how much you need or want that particular item.

FreelancerInc January 17th, 2012 14:42

I like ordering from them and never have.problems

Conker January 17th, 2012 14:49

Fuck them. Ordered twice, got fucked twice.

jordan7831 January 17th, 2012 15:05

They wanted $20 to ship a small spring that cost $3 and weighed 2 grams. Fuck evike

Drakker January 17th, 2012 15:15

Ordered once, communications were super slow, shipping price was outrageous, they tried to pass one of their matrix brand crap as an Airsoft Surgeon hi-capa loading nozzle, took over a month to get a RMA authorization. I do not ever plan to order from them again.

Eeyore January 17th, 2012 15:38

I suggest you keep away from Evike. Ordering from Evike gives you STD's.

Read my sig.

In the end the decision is yours to make, as some people here have chosen to do; but it is strongly recommended you stay away from them.

Charged me $15 shipping for 2 magazine feedlips for a m9

jomor January 17th, 2012 22:29

Evike

I have ordered many many times from them and had no problems or bad experiences or bad products.
Airsoft GI on the hand has screwed up several orders I have placed with them. Wrong sizes and wrong models etc etc.
I realy think its just your KARMA. Some people have no problems and others do.

FreelancerInc January 17th, 2012 22:43

so from the posts here i have a solution to alot of peoples problems.

DONT MAKE SMALL ORDERS!!!!

when you make big orders you save on shipping. the shipping from evike is internation and thus more expensive. so get a big order from you and your friends. its the same deal as if you order a 5$ spring from a store in canada and only expect 1$ shipping. thats still over 20% of your money going to shipping. if you and your friends get a 700$ order and its 70$ shipping you just dropped 10% in shipping.

yes you may get the wrong item once in a while but when your dealing with one of thee biggest airsoft dealers in north america its almost expected. it may happen more often then it should but it may have a reason for this. as evike is not a member of our forums *as far as i know* we have to talk about them from our experiences and not from a high ranking member of their business

Ivanm January 17th, 2012 23:04

ive ordered a bunch of time already ive never had any issues. mind you each time i ordered it was around $150-$200 per order

bizkilter January 17th, 2012 23:31

Made three orders from evike.com $300, $500 and $70-ish. Had zero hard issues. The only hiccup was a stocking issue which their rep communicated to me within two days of placing the order and had it all sussed out a day after that. I have nothing but good things to say about them.

Its not just shipping or getting the wrong item, read up on the plethora of posts on the matter: its stuff not getting sent (at all), claims they never received payment when they did and having to go through paypal or visa to get money back, horrible or existent customer service, etc.

Plus when I wanna order something, I just want to order what I need not start managing a huge group order just because a retarded store insists on using UPS. And I cringe at the idea of sending $700 their way.

Yes, I've had one order go okay with Evike. But three others resulted in various problems. I don't need that shit and I don't encounter it with most other retailers.

Ordered from the 4 times last year without issues!

You think it may depend on what kind of products are ordered?

To add to what Drake says, I've placed at least 30, maybe even 40 orders online last year, and I had only one go wrong, the Evike one. Karma has nothing to do with it.

Basically Evike is the cheap whore on the corner street, banging her doesn't guarantee you'll get AIDS, but when a bunch of people caught it in the past, you might want to go a bit more upscale.

I don't see why you still want to proceed here, sure there are some satisfied customers, they can't fuck up every order, but considering airsoft retailers are a dime a dozen, why not give your money to people with a better reputation?

EDIT: Ah, of course... http://www.evike.com/product_info.ph...ducts_id=35309

Lorica January 18th, 2012 22:12

we've done 7 orders this year. 5 no troubles from the evike end, although 2 were seized at the border. 2 were very slow in communications with them, especially on one which had an item backordered, that they were going to replace, but then couldn't but then could etc etc. Shipping is HORRIBLE, shop in canada, prices are close when you add in high shipping and any upgrades you need done to get it to try to pass customs

well the only reason i would wanna order from evike is getting the more specific (or possibly rare) stuff i cant seem to find in canada.

ive emailed a few places in canada about these parts and have not gotten an answer of they cant get it.....

And to be fair about this as well i would rather order in canada for 1. supporting canadian retailers in the sport. 2. garunteed to not get grabbed by customs.

But like said the problem is finding these parts, evike has a lot of them, but from what i have read it either comes at a hefty price or no priduct at all due to lack of shipping(not the shipping prices, reliability) or the cbsa.

you guys have been helpful though, the feedback is hugely appreciated. Great community on here
