So call me the curious one..
But I have not heard one person say in this thread "I am owed this from way back when"
Maybe they have not bothered to post, who knows.

Maybe Greg actually has re payed everyone? Maybe he hasn't who 100% knows.

Everyone seems to be looking on the dark side of things, I can understand why.
And I'll admit when I first heard this I panicked, and worried.

Greg just posted an update in his thread stating he has placed all the current custom order items at the post office, so far he's kept to his word.

I am just amazed how everyone is looking at the dark side, I know he has a bad past... But things do change.

Call me crazy or what you will, but I'm looking on both side of the fences here.

mcguyver September 18th, 2009 23:14

He hasn't paid everyone. There are alot of guys who aren't really on here anymore who are out their stuff/money.

And it was mentioned in this thread already.

burningashes September 18th, 2009 23:29

I recieved my custom order alright, but only after a bit of pressure cuz he never emailed me nor shipped it for ages after it arrived. He was rude when he emailed me back. Told myself, im never buying from that dude again

You know what i think, he wanted to build up a reputation and then get a huge scoop of "custom orders" and go out with a bang. More money that way. He has his eyes on the bigger prize: Bankrupting the entire airsoft canada community

IceTray September 18th, 2009 23:30

Ok, correct me if I'm wrong, but has he not been paying people back, refunding them, or doing whatever?

I mean this is nothing more than a big mob hating on someone, even people who weren't even involved or generally knew about him, they're just hopping on the bandwagon.
Yea what he did was a dick move, and cowardly, but he did come back, and has been assisting the community since then, and no one has been having problems with him, other than impatient kids not wanting to wait.

Why this was posted in three different sections of this forum, just seems like an attempt to rally a hate machine.

I won't say give the guy a break and let him go scott-free, but even so. Getting rid of someone whos been helping people get products they want, isn't exactly benefiting the sport and its players. And before someone gets anal about it, no, he shouldn't be exempt from punishment just because hes a retailer.

BTW more details on how he was spotted!!!!! Proof or it didnt happen :D

- Greg started a company called props canada about 7 / 8 years ago.
- He set up a preorder with AMAZING prices
- Tons of people preordered.
- Then, through his work or the suppliers fault, very few actually got guns.
- He spent the next few years trying to repay the people who he owed guns or money to.
- Tons of people were left with no gun or cash.

If he's back here, MAKING MONEY, and not paying back those people who STILL (after 7 years) don't have their refund.

Well I'm not a rocket scientist but I can imagine some people wanting his head again.

Thaaaaaaaaaank you I was confused

He came back without saying who he was.
If he did, then people would have done the same thing and made sure he refunded every single person he screwed with PropsCan.
Regardless of what he does now, he should settle PropsCan first, and then MAYBE we'll (I'll) give him another chance (but probably not).
Oh, and I have a say cuz I was involved back then.

I received my item today as described. All those who are in this current order will probably receive their items.

Greg

And indeed, the tracking number he gave me 2 days ago now shows that it's processed at the postal facility. Yay!

Erennert September 19th, 2009 00:49

At least he trying to fix it now, but that doesn't erase his past.

turok_t September 19th, 2009 01:30

I've read through all of the comments posted by everyone here and I agree with both sides- the hating and the supporting. I will list out the facts here based on my interactions with Greg for the order in May 2009. You guys can be the judge.

1. At first, all comms were great, he responded within 24hrs and addressed all my questions/concerns.

2. I was one of the person who was missing the CA M15A4 RIS/CQB from the May order.

3. He said he would be contacting other suppliers to help me and this other buddy on ASC get our guns. I have been sending him many pms for updates (ie. two PM's per week) but sometimes he doesnt respond. He has responded with my other buddy on ASC and we exchanged our replies to fully keep ourselves updated.

4. I helped Greg call suppliers in US and Hong Kong to check what is in stock since I know hes very busy.

5. He honoured my request to order my M15A4 from UNCompany instead of waiting from Spartan Imports, even though it is more expensive for him to pay the shipping cost overseas.

6. After the order has been placed, I had to send multiple PM's to get an update, no update was given to me and my buddy automatically.

7. He told my buddy and I that he missed the postman at his door 3x in 3 simultaneous days around 20-30mins.

8. Before he left for his vacation in Aug, he sent my buddy and I a CONFIRMATION NUMBER (not tracking number). When this # was entered into CanadaPost, it showed up as "An order has been electronically submitted". I called CanadaPost to see if there was an error/mistake, but they say that usually, if a product was received, it should say "Item received Postal Facility". The above msg was seen for 6 days on the canadapost website. On the 7th day, the status has been changed to "Item received at postal facility" ---> this told me that when he sends a confirmation #, it doesnt mean that the package is shipped. Personally, a confirmation # means jack to me.. I would prefer a valid, working tracking number.

That is all....

Cortexburn September 19th, 2009 01:34

He fucked the community before and he's going to do it again.

People....contact the RCMP and get this shit sorted.

Drake September 19th, 2009 09:49

I would add that no one should panic right now. Understand the severity of consequences for him if we turn him over to authorities: not only would he lose his business, he'd probably also face fines and/or jail time. It's entirely in his best interest to deliver the goods or offer full refunds before his 30 days are up.

Those who are still owed something from the original PropsCan order need to step up now and make their claim.
