Yeah. We could smell plastic heating up for sure. Not quite burning, so what we said in the video wasn't very accurate, but definitely smell plastic being heated up. I didn't see the smoke at that one point, but apparently there was a wisp of smoke that game from the gun. Not sure what it was from.

It would actually be interesting to remove the mechbox from the gun before the next test just to see what damage (if any) was caused by this test fire. We should do that before totally killing it next time.

pics!!!

Man I ran THAT lipo in my Kraken (with JG mechbox) most of that day firing upwards of 5 second bursts (had a hicap and felt like doing suppressing fire) and it's perfectly fine. If everybody is having shit luck with lipos, I suggest you all get the firefox 3 stick lipo. that's what we have and it rocks.

LIES.

LiPos don't kill mechboxes. Shoddy parts, and manufacturing defects do. Inokatsu isn't immune to them, either, unfortunately.

;)

Yes, lipos don't kill mechboxes... They just hasten their natural death.

It's kind of like smoking that way: More likely to give you cancer, but your likley to get it anyway.
