To me it smells like wood chips, or that smell you get when you open up a container full of dirt and worms

Ya, mine too, definite dirt smell. But that's what happens with you weather it in mud, and spend a lot of time on the ground or in the swamp. :)

Is along the same lines of when I first started playing in '04, heard one of the vets say that you can always tell a poser airsofter by checking his kneepads, if they are without scratches and he's had them for a while.............

So I showed up at a game not long after with my new Hatch knee pads, they bent down to take a look, I told them to fuck off because it was my first day wearing them, they grinned, and sure enough, end of the day there was mud and a few scratches on them. So there. :)

aww, now I can't have my pic, I even made it half sized to keep within the size limits, system thinks I have two pics when I try to add it.

Oh well, guess Ill just have to go without for a while.
