Finally got a Soviet Shinel great coat that fits me (from stocks in the Ukraine) thought it would never happen.

I needed it on the day we were playing, easily the coldest day of the month, and I was glad of the Ushanka on my head even after running around all day in it!

The Shinel looks a bit "loud" for the battlefield but in actual combat they would probably ditch this for a Bushlat jacket. The Greatcoat with bright red insignia was often used to look good for Pravda photographers than actually fighting in!

Shinel greatcoat
M69 tunic and trousers
M69 webbing set
gas mask satchel
Cyma AKM with AKM Bayonet
Enlisted rank tall leasther boots

Safety off on first pic, following basic training in infantry this should not happen... Looks like "oxranyay tolchok " for a coupe days duty right there if officer noticed that... :) You get caught with safely off anywhere god forbid, pray you'll get a light duty....

Ha!:D Oh God I know I would make an awful soldier, the more you learn about the military and military history the more you respect the people that join up (or for that matter are conscripted) but you also realise that a) you would be poor combat material and b) you never ever want to actually fight in a war!

Doesn't mean you can't pretend for a while on the weekends though! ;)

Yes its a sposn gorka S or C (depending on the translation). Its the anorak style one.

Its a grad 1. Their pretty hard to find these days but they pop up on redalliance once and awhile.
