whats all this non-sense about "daddy will buy me a gun for my birthday, or Santa will drop one down the chimney..." Seriously, I have no problems with people getting nice presents from loved ones, but for f*ck sakes, if you can't afford to pay for your own gun, (hopefully you have a job), than airsoft is very, very wrong for you.

We were all 17 sometime. Help him out folks. No need for some of the insults being slung around although I understand the frustration with needing to spoon feed new posters every now and then. This one seems reasonable and he's of age to play in 16+ regions (you can with parental consent in Calgary area). Why post at all if all you are going to do is be hard on the guy? The time it takes for you to flame him or post "read the faq, get age verified, wait and grow up, etc." (in less polite terms) is enough time for you to post something helpful or at least cordial and welcoming.

that's good, there's tons of threads on almost every topic you can think of, so research is definitely a good thing. If people see that you did your research then they will be more inclined to help, but if not then it's bbq time! hehe

Like, I said. I do my research now. Its actually quicker to search the forums, than to post a question and get yelled at if its quite obvious what the awnser is.
