Now I expect to get majourly flamed by all the PURISTS on the board who will advise you that if your not spending at least $1000 on your stuff you should be looking for a different sport or those that tell you no advise till you are 18 and age verified.

One more thing you may get more and better advise using Google than asking here!

I didn't see any "purists" saying you need $1000 bucks? I saw good advice posted, realistic to most players.

Your advice was great too.

I started with a 60$ vest and Woodland BDU's for probably 80$ and boots I got for free. That plus an entry level AEG is definatly enough. My kit is still the exact same except for the gun after 3-4 years of airsofting almost every weekend.

You had to, didn't you?

Dick. I hope a bird poops on you.

Your right this has been one of the most helpfull threads I've seen here in a while!

you can get started with some pretty good stuff for cheap though.
G&G M4=300
full BDUs I got mine for 50 used, new ones can go for as low as 80 on ebanned or capitalairsoft.
chest rig again I got 1 of mine for $10 off of Jeff.
very nice boots (doesn't have to be tactical, just with ankle support, which mine doesn't have XD) for around $30 at winners or elsewhere
goggles (just pay 50 for ESS ones)
it comes out to not be much. If you want, you can skip all the kit, run 2 hicaps, and just wear black clothes and boots for a while.

purposly ignorning amos here =.=

There's a difference between purists, and people who have played with shitty equipment and choose not to. I play with more expensive stuff because I find it WAY more comfortable and functional than cheap stuff, and will recommend it because of that. Does that make me a purist?

Hey Christo, we do not condone non-age verified member telling other non av's members how to get guns. We have a system in place to prevent accidents and unwanted media coverage. Please do not circumvent it.

Sometimes I wonder if this place was the best idea, given the impression alot of these noobs have here recently.

Lol... 150 isn't enough to play airsoft.

Maybe it's enough for a couple of 13 year olds to play in their back yard... but that's not airsoft.
