They're also the ONLY exact 1:1 replicas of real AKs in the airsoft world (most have longer receivers to fit standard V3 mechbox)

Warning to all Type 56-1 users...

Installing a Trigger master is a pain in the ass... But it's totally possible...

Anyone have any tips on how to make a 9.6 battery easily disappear into the fore-grip?

I had a heck of a time last night getting a team-member's 56-1's battery inside the fore-grip... It seems like the batteries we've got (18gau wiring) were just slightly too thick on the wiring part to get it to slide all the way into the grip... so I broke out my trusty Dremal and created a small in the front part of the receiver (where the outer barrel attaches from) and now the battery slides in and out pretty easily.

Also.. Trigger masters instantly make these things into monsters. This gun is firing 375.2 to 376.8 over a 10 shot test... It's almost more consistent than my VSR-10.
