Wal-Mart guns are what they are. Plastic springers and the odd plastic gearbox AEG that you can use to shoot paper targets and popcans in your basement or yard. They are not game-able.

The main focus of this forum is airsoft as a sport or as collectors of replica guns. Therefore, clearsoft has no place here unless it is a decent clone of a decent airsoft weapon (crosman tri-shot shotgun as TM M3 clone).

There are a few places but they do require a parent present AFAIK.

There's Panther Paintball (you should know where this is), Bigfoot Games (Mission?), NSPB (North Shore/North Van), and one other field that I know I'm forgetting. All you have to do is make a good impression, bring your parents (must sign waiver in front of the admin organizing the game), and not be a snot nosed brat (cause no one likes playing with a spoiled brat or a whiner 18+ included, if you don't make the game fun for everyone else (ie. not calling hits, or otherwise cheating) you may be asked to leave and not be invited back again).

Remember to sand down your gun a bit with some 100 grit paper and use a primer. I painted one of my clearsoft guns that I got as a joke, pics to come later cause it's at someone elses house. I don't know if swatt13 will like it or not though :D.

Stick to walmart guns if you intend on shooting things up in your garage. If you're going to get a "black" gun to do that then you're wasting money.

They suit my purposes of shooting paper targets and pop cans in the garage perfectly.I do like the looks of the black guns but I don't have the money to buy them from some gunrunner that will charge me twice what he payed for it. I do suspect that most of your black guns got here by less then legal means. Its not like they materialized out of thin air.

Why are they dissed you ask? Because for the most part they are low quality items that usually break with in a short time. As you said in your post, they suit your purpose, however for the majority of gaming airsoft players in Canada those clear low quality items do not suit ours. I would just like to add that all my airsoft guns came to Canada legally when they did in fact appear out of thin air.
