Hey Gordo, I think the TM PSG-1 is more of a collection piece for collectors than anything, as it is a unique and beautiful gun to own, HOWEVER when fully upgraded it can perform very well (which will cost you a small fortune), but as Amos and CDN_Stalker said it probably won't match a good spring/gas rifle.

Aquamarine has an upgraded PSG-1, just ask him how his Mistress H&K PSG-50 D.I.N.O. performs :D

All these clone L96's come out of the same factory... They're all the same mediocer quality. They do have some slight problems with upgrades though (Tolerance issues that require you to permanently modify the gun via filing / drilling stuff like that)

Never heard of it. But again, its a clone dude, dont get clone specialty guns. their tolerances are too off to perform effectively and they will never equal the performance of their legit counterparts. For standard AEGs, it wont matter (though if you upgrade a TM and a JG equally, the TM will perform better). Still, cause you are looking at specialty rifles, go big or go home. that is the best advice i can give you atm

i will respectively disagree. with regards to a spring rifle, you are 100% correct. but a gas rifle only needs a TB inner barrel in terms of performance upgrades. however, i realize arguing this point with regards to two completely different systems is fruitless.

hmmm i've done modifications on my jg bar10 gspec with laylax parts and so far no tolerance issues parts fit like a charm! (sears, hop up,cylinder stuff) i just got my friend's l96(sexy!) in for upgades... and side by side i think i like the grip of the vsr better , l96 is fucking bulky!!:D

Well.. You could probably shave about 200 bucks or so off of the cost of building the same gun by not lining the entire barrel with support spacers...


My gun fires 455 FPS with a deviation of 0.2 FPS... I can accurately and consistantly float a BB out to roughly 200 feet. Find me a gas rifle that can fire that consistently :)

That is wrong on many many levels. A gas system needs to produce a consistent amount of gas each time its fired. There are almost no guns that do that unless they are externally fed by a hose and regulator. Please dont post facts like this I know your rather new to the whole "sniper rifle" thing. I am not trying to be a dick I just hate when people post misinformation.
