MP5. It's light, easy to fix. Mags are a good size for the hands for loading, and are large enough to hold plenty of rounds. It was the first gun I ever used and I loved it.

I think ________ in the classifieds is gouging interest for some JG AK Beta Spetsnaz CQB ver. (JG Krinknov) Thread title is "Panda Boy's Airsoft - Krinkovs Galore"
He's bringing them in for $350 each with a volume discount. All NIB. Description: - TM Compatible (Mags, Gearbox, and parts) - Ver 3 Gearbox - 250 rd Short AK Magazine - 350 FPS (what his supplier says, he will update when he test's one out) - Hop up Adjustable (Of course!) - Battery and Charger |
Glock 17 gbb? Small and versatile for anyone. Give them a holster and a few mags.

AK or M4 |
TM M4, the one with no wobble. Buy it and be done with it.

MY first choice would be an AK.
My reccommended General choice for newbies would be MP5A5. M4s aren't very reliable for a newbies. |
AK or M4. Both are easily recognized by almost everyone, the mags aren't hard to get and most slings fit the fuckers. Depends though. Are you guys talking about playing more at PBW or Deathbarn? I'd go with the M4 for Deathbarn. So, lean to the M4.

I'm in the same predicament as OP now.
I was supposed to get some cheapo AK's from the classifieds but seller can't get them cause they're out of stock... Do you guys suggest that I get a few Krakens/Broxas and upgrade them? (I'm a total noob to upgrading and opening stuff up but I don't mind experimenting). My only qualm is that I screw it up and I'm down some money whereas if I get some cheapo chinaclone I know that it should perform relatively nicely out of the box. |
Any gun that is easy to fix, cheap and abundant parts just because loaner guns seems to get broken faster.
