I have found that VFC, CYMA and Battleaxe mags work on my Gen 1 AKS74N. I have not yet owned any AK74 G&P magazines but i'm thinking probably? Maybe someone viewing this can confirm or deny this.

I had to radically modify a LCT AK74 magazine for it to fit. It was more of a wonder-if-it-will-work experiment and it does. The front catch had to be shaved flush and a metal mag "floating" front was added.

Try to find bolstered mags, by bolstered I mean they have the build out side panels at the mag well end. This will ensure a better and more solid fit
