Silicone is not a cleaner, it's a lubricant.
You don't clean your windows with WD40, you clean them with windex.

Unless you lick them... I understand there are a lot of window-lickers out there...

BBs will roll out of the barrel only if you dump half of the bottle down the barrel. Had it happened to me once in 15 years. During 36 hour Quebec event I was trying to fix the thing in the field. Because that's how you shoot wet BBs.

The BB won't (at least shouldn't) touch the barrel when you shoot, so lubricating the barrel will just make dirt and grime get stuck to it.

Different BB compounds react differently, they're not all the same. The bbs I use seem to leave some residue. hop up is putting enough spin on the BBs to burn skin sometimes, I have had bb shaped burns after being hit, they aren't bruises, they blister up like friction burns. I'm guessing the compound in the bbs don't like the heat so much from high revolutions and leave some plastic behind or it's mold release agent to get the bb to pop out of the spherical molds they're made in coming off. It's wasn't super hard to buff out of the barrel but a wipe with the rod wasn't enough to remove it after games without some elbow grease or heat. The brake cleaner got it off instantly, spray and wipe and it came off in the next swab.

The heat is from the friction of the bb spinning and contact with your skin. Whenever the bb leaves the barrel the pocket of air cushioning and pushing it out should cool it down so heat shouldn't be a factor.

Are these bio bb's? Non bio are stable plastic that shouldn't degrade, emit smell, etc.

Maybe it's bio bb's sweating due to light and heat in storage that it'selting half way through the barrel?

Most barrel fouling comes from the release agent left on the BBs after production, doesn't matter if they're bio or not. Rest of it is dust in the air and silicone lube coming out of people's over-and improperly-lubed cylinder.
