HPA without the hoses

Let's hope the results will be acceptable (rounds per C02 cartridge)
They say 200 rds/cartrigde...

Another reason why HPA'ing anything that ISNT a LMG doesn't make sense.

I respectfully disagree. A DMR or a bolt-action sniper rifle (Mancraft SDiK) could be HPA'd to great effect (you get a quieter gun in the case of the DMR as well as good trigger response, high consistency in both cases, and a easier smoother bolt pull for the BAR). I do agree that LMGs should be the most common HPA platform though.

Ricochet June 6th, 2016 21:42

Best sniper platforms I've seen bar none are springer, period. No gas, no electricity.

EastCoastShooter June 6th, 2016 22:14

Prepare yourselves, the HPA bolt guns are coming...

Datawraith June 6th, 2016 22:17

They're already kicking around... From what I hear, they actually work really well too. It's one of the most common mods for the KJW M700 system. Of course, there are advantages and disadvantages to both spring and the Mancraft system, but having a variety keeps life interesting.

Actually that stock looks pretty cool from Wolverine, even if it isn't optimal it's a step in the right direction.

I would like to have a gas bolt action that is loud. I would like for it to be a closed system so that putting a can on it might do something for noise reduction, and I would like to have the gas system be independant of the magazines.

The main reason is because I don't want to work against a spring. Huge turn-off. Even a bolt gun whose action only really resets the trigger would be fine if that means better consistency and "realistic" mags.
The second reason is that it would be rad.

Better yet, give me a big, loud, MSG90 that goes "PWAWP PWAWP PWAWP" and I will give you two thousand dollars.

If the right gun has a hose, I'll attach the hose and give no fucks. I'm realistically AEG to the death though, because I can make them work real good. Gas systems are annoying to me and/ or just aren't in the right flavour to suit my tastes.

^ he also gets turned on by soggy hotdogs dipped in mustard, chocolate covered balls and duets sung by Celine Dion and Justin Beiber.

It's your best chance to kill them both with one bullet. Now if only we could get Brad Marchand to sing with them, we could take out three lousy Canadians at once. Legitimately unlock my "Sally Likes Blood" achievement in real life, instead of just in Black-Ops. Which I've totally done *brag*

Also, it's the chocolate balls I like soggy and bunless hotdogs dipped in mayo. Get it right!

I didn't like the idea of HPA because of the idea of hoses and speedsofters and all that, but I converted when I installed a SMP into my Inokatsu M240. I've been sitting on that project for a year until then, and I never regretted that decision(but those on the receiving end did lol). Does that mean I like HPA? sure. Will this make me get rid of my AEGs and tell others that own AEGs that they're gay? No. To me, I believe like a lot of others here that HPA works best on LMGs. I'm not an asshole, I tuned the FPS on it to a much lower level using only a specific ammo weight for it. I don't even abuse the ROF on it mainly because of the boxmag/hopper can't keep up. As for me running the SMP instead of other systems, its because of how unique the Inokatsu M240 is built. My teammates mostly have at least one HPA gun and its usually a LMG for the reliability. Hell, the .50cal that's mounted on my team vehicle is powered by HPA. So overall, HPA isn't that bad when mounted on a support weapon platform. Everything else will cause massive debates.

Wilkie June 7th, 2016 20:22

Medium and heavy machine guns are the only things I would install one in as well. Especially from a fixed position the hose wouldn't bother me at all.
