Yes... Excellent! Though I think I'm gonna try the "reflex" style of sights first. See if I like them.

i ran a tasco red dot for a little while, didnt care for it. the main issue with big sights is they clog up your line of fire.... i only use iron sights now, but have been tempted by those micro sights

mike_sinyard May 23rd, 2013 13:55

Aimpoint Ms2 is too big as you said so I would second the aimpoint T1 micro. $60 on airsoftdepot.ca

TheTryHard May 23rd, 2013 16:02

The only thing I don't like my primary arms micro t1 for is the battery life is not that great, but for a $100 real steel optic with mount I'm not gonna whine.

Edit: By the way, mine was mounted on a sks for a while before it went on my airsoft gun so they are definitely very durable.

I ordered this:

So I'll probably review it and let you guys know what I think.

TheTryHard May 23rd, 2013 18:46

Looks good, hopefully it works and performs good for you.

SuperHog May 23rd, 2013 20:03

Prepare to buy a shield as well. My reflex got shot out, didn't last one game.

nichtessen May 23rd, 2013 22:11

Just a question about optics/scopes. Any legal issues importing them?

TheTryHard May 24th, 2013 00:08

No, unless it's a real firearm optic coming up from the US that costs over I believe it's a hundred bucks. Then you just have to do the export permit process with the US. But optics from anywhere else isn't an issue.

nichtessen May 24th, 2013 00:20

Dang :/ Saw a RS SVD I wanted but it's shipped from the us and about 279. How does one go about doing the export permit process?

TheTryHard May 24th, 2013 00:32

I'm not sure my permit crap was done for me by brownells and irunguns, it's a pain in the ass to do it as a private citizen and I'm not sure how you would go about it. Stupid US ITAR laws....

Edit: You might want to read through this it might help you out

http://www.gdcanada.com/documents/Ge...Suppliers1.pdf

Also if it's shipped from a dealer in the states and not a private sale, the dealer might be willing to help you out if you ask.

Magnaroth May 24th, 2013 16:21

Okay... so I'm NOT getting that reflex sight after all.

Apparently, due to restrictions, they couldn't ship it to Canada. Jerks!

TheTryHard May 25th, 2013 14:30

Ah that sucks you got stuck with the shitty ITAR laws

Magnaroth May 25th, 2013 17:06

Apparently! Whatever. I'll go see what Sail has on their shelves.

ElbadoKing June 13th, 2013 05:19

I have a A.C.M aimpoint clone and I have to say for the price its great changine the sensitivity works great in and out mutliple reticles and a green setting for night ops make it a solid sight
