no there should be no issue getting them in
another one that is cheap, but I have not seen any write ups on them are the Hero Arms ones Hero Arms AN/PEQ 2 Battery Pack $25 http://www.wgcshop.com/pcart/shopper...1359274b90d5d8 http://www.wgcshop.com/WGC_Shop/images/ha_acc_peq2.jpg |
I use a G&P battery pack with a 9.6V nimh battery. Never had problems with it, as a good ROF and looks like way more realistic than an ICS. Comes with a metal mount that never failed to me. By the way, with the G&P an/peq II, forget to use your original iron sights as the selector knob goes higher than your front sight.

hey IceMan did you find the right AN/PEQ?
Please tell me what model you got, cause im looking for the same thing. Hoping to fit an 8.4 Sub-C battery. thanks |
I recently picked up a king arms PEQ2. It is by far the nicest one I've ever seen. Looking at it, I think the dimensions are a bit off the real one, but the fit and finish is excellent, and I think the dimensions are off on all of the PEQ2s available anyway.

I think the Nitro.Vo PEQ2 Type Battery Box is accurate in size and details:
Nitro Vo: http://www.wgcshop.com/pcart/shopper...Battery%20Pack real-steel: http://www.insightlights.com/federal...duct.asp?id=21 The Nitro.Vo is pretty sturdy and solid. |
Recce's PEQ is the hotness, I will agree the nitro model is probably one of the best out there.

Any model except the G&P model.
The G&P is nice that you can fit large cells in it, but the AN/PEQ is HUGE and totally out of proportion. And the fact that the knobs broke off after handling it for a few minutes. |
Some new options:
http://www.wgcshop.com/pcart/shopper...=STAR-ACC-BC02 http://www.wgcshop.com/pcart/shopper...=STAR-ACC-BC03 The former link holds standard 1700mAh A cell packs, whereas the latter link holds large (sub-C) packs. |
Regarding those 2, I wonder which one is closer to the real deal in terms of dimensions?

I think Insight Technologies Inc. makes the best AN/PEQ-2 designator.

Hey fellas,
I thought i would dig this out of the archives and get some ideas... I am looking for a PEQ battery case that is close to the size of the real deal ( of course it is going to be a little bigger) i also need to to hold a 9.6V with enough mah to help load the 150% spring and other upgrades. If you have a peq battery case, and have had great use and luck with it, please do tell and help me on a decision. |
